I wake up and feel something move, I look over and its my mate, "Red?" I say and she turns around to look at me. She smiles, "morning to you too chief. What do you want for breakfast," she asks, and I pull her close, "am I dead?" I ask and she laughs, "no Chief your alive and so am I, pancakes?" she asks, and I nod my head. She gets up and I can't believe she is back. I shake my head and get up, walking down the stair with sweats on, I don't care for a shirt. I turn the corner and I see her wearing my shirt, "so that's why I couldn't I find my shirt," I say, and she turns to me with a smirk, "its comfy and it smells like you," she says and looks down.

I grab her chin and make her look at me, I can see she is crying, "red what's wrong baby?" I ask and she looks at me, "it smells like you. 18 years without wearing your shirts in the morning or feeling you hug me from behind, waking up and you making pancakes," she says and starts to cry. I pick her up and place her on the counter, "red, I am here baby. I missed you so damn much. I missed having you in my arms every morning. I missed seeing you wear my shirts. I missed everything," I say and bury my face in her neck. I missed her scent, roses and rain.

I pull back and look at her, "come one let's make some pancakes, I am starving," I say, and she smiles and laughs, "lets skip breakfast baby," she says and pulls me by my waist and kisses me. I don't even hesitate and kiss her back. I pick her up and she wraps her legs around my waist, "I am in the mood for a shower," I say, and she smirks. I put her on the counter in the bathroom and turn the water on, when I turn around, she is already naked. I growl in approval, "mine and only mine," I say, and she blushes. I let my sweats fall and I pick her up and walk into the shower. I kiss her passionately and push her against the wall. I kiss down her neck and I find her sweet spot, still the same spot. I smirk and I bite down, "C-chief," she moans out and I take this moment to thrust my hips.

I soon feel her bite down on my neck and after we both cum, I release my hold and she does as well, "god I missed you," I say and kiss her. She kisses back and smiles, "I missed you too," she says, and I kiss her again. I turn off the water and get out behind her, I look at the clock and notice it is already eleven, "damn red. We were in there for 3 hours. Still got it baby," I say with a smirk, and she blushes. I get dressed in some jeans and a t-shirt, my mate wears her tank top and shorts, "looking good red," I say, and she smiles. We walk down and we see Holden sitting down with a smug look, "didn't waste time mom," he says, and she blushes, and I growl, "kidding dad jeez, still stuck up I see," he says, and I roll my eyes. I walk over and start making food, "where is Juneau? She hasn't gone to the cells to talk to Kalina," my mum asks and Holden chuckles, "what's funny son?" I ask and he looks between me and his mom, "you really don't know her that well. She is making Kalina uneasy, torturing her slowly not letting her know when she will come but truth be told she has already visited the cells," he says with a smirk.

I raise my brow and look at my mate, she shrugs her shoulders, "what do you mean?" I ask and he looks at me, "Juneau kept her wolf locked up for 18 years. She knows how to make herself smell human, if Kalina smelled that she wouldn't be alarmed. Juneau was watching her, learning her ways. She already knows what Kalina is gonna say tomorrow," he says, and I look at my mate, "she really has changed," his mom says, and I nod my head, "yeah I just don't know if it is in a good way or bad," I say, and Holden looks at me. "I think it is a good thing, makes her a better warrior and tracker, they won't even see her coming," he says, and I nod my head, "very true," I say.

I smell someone coming and I see my head tracker, "Levi, how are you?" I ask. He nods his head and looks at my mate, "L-luna ?" he says and she smiles and nods her head, "hey Levi," she says and he nods his head to her, "letting you know we are going for a hunt, didn't know if you wanted to go," he asks and I shake my head, "I am good Levi, I am just gonna stay and spend time with my mate," I say and he nods his head. I watch him leave and I feel a hand on my chest, "you could go if you want," my mate says but I shake my head, "no. I have to make up for 18 years that I lost," I say and she smiles. I look at my son and see his face, "you ok" I ask and he nods his head, "yeah I just smell something weird that's all," he says and I nod my head and look at my mate, "maybe its your mate baby," she says and I nod my head.
