Before You

*Juneau's POV

I am laying on the couch with my mate on my chest sleeping, and when I look over I see my dad and mum cuddling as well. I catch my dad looking at me and he smiles, "you seem like your old self when you were younger," he says and I nod my head, "yeah. Princess here brought the old me out even before we mated," I say and he chuckles. He look down at my mum and kisses her head, "you know what your gonna do with Kalina?" he asks and I nod my head. "Kalina cant talk her way out of anything. I had Rin dream walk her and all the evidence is there. She only has 2 options," I say and look at my mate.

I hear my dad shuffle, "going rouge or death," he says and I look at him and nod my head. I look back at my mate, "I just don't want to lose control of Asura and hurt anyone," I say and my dad nods his head, "I don't want that either but your brother and you are the same. I am sure he will be there in seconds to help and the mate on your chest is always gonna be there for you," he says and I nod my head. Both me and my dad decide to take a small nap before having to deal with Kalina. I pull my mate close and take in her scent before closing my eyes and falling asleep.

After what feels like a full day of sleeping, I feel someone playing with my hair and when I open my eyes I see my mate looking at me, "hello there princess," I say and shuffle a bit. She laughs and looks at me, "deep morning voice, love it. We have to get up baby. We need to deal with someone," she says and I sigh and look at her, "I know... five more minutes," I say and close my eyes. She laughs and tries to loosen my grip around her, "stop moving baby," I say and she sighs, "I will kiss you if you wake up," she says and I look at her. I pucker my lips and she laughs and kisses me, "there. Now let me go," she says and I sigh. I let my hands fall to my sides and she gets up and straddles me, "get up my alpha," she says. I look at her to see her with a smirk on her face, "don't start or we will never make it to the cells today," I say, and she blushes and gets up. I watch her walk away and turn on the coffee maker, "you guys can mate after this whole thing with Kalina is over," my mum says, and I nod my head. She walk over and kisses my head, "oh Akila is coming back today," she says, and I look at her and smile, "really? I thought she had 2 more months left," I ask, and my mom shakes her head, "she just called. She will be here this afternoon," she says, and I nod my head, "who is Akila?" my mate asks, and she sits in my lap and hands me coffee. I look at my mum, "Akila was the one I had a crush on when I was younger," I say and my mate looks jealous, "she is a year younger then me and we kind of grew up together. Kind of like how Mal is like my sister, Akila is as well," I say, and she nods her head. I smirk and pull her waist, "no need to be jealous, I'm bearing your mark remember?" I ask and she blushes and smiles.

I smell something and I get up and get in front of my mate and my dad does the same, "baby what's wrong?" I hear my mum ask and Rain grabs my shirt, "stay right behind me princess" I say. She nods her head, and my mum comes to the couch and me and my dad are in front of them. The door opens and I growl and my dad lunges but stops when we see Asta, "girl you stupid. You could have died," I say, and she smiles and laughs, "yeah but I wanted to surprise you guys," she says and runs and hugs me. I hug her back I can feel Rain get jealous, and my mum speaks up and sit down and pull Rain onto my lap, kissing her neck, "Asta this is a lovely surprise," she says and hugs her. Rain leans into me, and I slide my hand under her shirt touches her lower back and she shivers a bit. She turns to look at me and I look at her innocently, "and who is this?" I hear Asta ask, and I look at her, "Asta this is Rain, my mate," I say, and she comes over and pulls Rain into a hug, "thank you for loving this stubborn ass," she says, and I look at her, "hey! I am not that stubborn," I say and Rain laughs, "I bribed you with a kiss to get you up and moving. Otherwise, you would still be sleeping and let this issue drag on," she says, and I look away.

We were talking and laughing and then we hear a growl from outside, and me and dad get in front of the girls, "what the fuck is up with people and trying to surprise us," I say and then the door swings open and Holden walks in and then I hear a thud. When I turn around, I see Asta on the ground, "mate," I hear from Holden, and I look at my mum and dad. I grab Rain and get out of the way and when he sees Asta on the ground he runs to her, checking if she is ok. "She is ok Mufasa, she fell cause of your blood humming like crazy," I say, and he nods his head. He picks her up and places her on the couch, "never in a million years did I think it would be you," he says, and she smiles, "same to you as well," and with that he pulls her close and hugs her. I smile and look at Rain. I catch her smiling at me and when we make eye contact, I wink at her causing her to blush.
