"I know no best way to end the night than this." said Dream, pointing at the sky. "Good'ol stargazing in Outertale."

Fell had left the party, forced by his brother, and Fresh had simply disappeared. The four remaining skeletons were lying on the ground, looking at the stars.

"Yeah, feels like I could watch that forever." said Blue.

"Mh..." sighed Cross.

"Y'know, I've been thinking a lot, recently." said Ink. "I think I'll make a pause."

Dream froze. "Like... retiring ?"

"Nah, just a pause. I'll stop being the "guardian of AUs" for a while. I'm trying to find a specific AU."

"Really ?" asked Blue. "I thought you knew where every AU was."

"Nope, it's not that simple."

"Well," added Cross. "What is there in this AU that's so interesting for you ?"

"No idea actually. It's just mentioned on my right leg. But if it has any connection with me, I must try to find it. Maybe it contains things I've forgotten, or answers to why I am like this !"

"Well, I hope you'll find it. Don't worry about the Multiverse's safety. We may not be as used to him as you, but we'll know how to keep Error busy."

"Yeah..."

Silence came back, and no other words were said for the rest of the night.

9th of November : Departure

"You sure you got everything this time ?"

"You're starting to sound like your brother, Fell. I know how to handle myself !"

"Ink," said Blue. "It's just the third time you go, then come back a few hours later because you forgot something !"

Blue, Fell and Dream were here to say goodbye to Ink before he leaves.

"Try to not get yourself killed okay ?"

"I'll see what I can do. I'm not even sure if I can die at this point."

"Yeah, but plot armor tends to disappear when you most need it."

"Okay, I think I'm ready."

"Fourth time's the charm !"

Ink turned around, put his hands on the ground, as unusually colorful ink gathered around him. He disappeared in a splatter, that covered his friends in ink.

"Gah ! I'm sure he did that on purpose !" screamed Fell.

"Well, I hope he'll be back soon." added Blue.

Cross didn't say anything.

"Dream ? Is everything alright ?"

Dream looked perturbed. 

"I... thought I felt something. But that's probably just emotions. C'mon guys, let's go."

The three grabbed Dream, and they all disappeared, leaving the Doodle Sphere empty.
