Baji was at the supermarket.

His beautiful wife, (Y/n) had sent him to run a few errands and of course to buy some groceries.

However, he wasn't alone.

Accompanying him was his little and adorable four year old daughter (Daughter's Name), wearing a pink summer dress and pink sandals. Her black hair styled in braided pigtails decorated with matching hair accessories as he gently held her hand.

He sauntered through the aisles of the supermarket, carefully checking off the items on the list his wife had given him with (D/n) skipping happily beside him.

The little girl's eyes widened with excitement as they passed the colorful displays of toys and treats. Indeed, she was a splitting image of him, having his dark locks and honey brown eyes. But she definitely had her mother's outgoing demeanor.

She was old enough to happily walk on her own instead of riding an a shopping cart, since she would complain that it was uncomfortable. But, she knew well enough to always stay close to daddy and to not wander off from his sight.

"Papa, can I buy some candy?" She asked once they'd entered the aisle with colorful candies, including lollipops, cotton candy, bubblegum, and chocolate bars.

Baji pondered for a moment. Perhaps (Y/n) wouldn't mind. Surely one piece of candy wouldn't increase their budget, right?

"Ok, but only one." He tells her, before letting go of her hand.

Baji watched carefully as (D/n) went over to a shelf and grabbed a tiny pink bag. She obviously knew exactly what she wanted as she returned, holding the packet up to him.

It had a kitty's paw on the front as Baji quickly read the title. "Happy Nikukyu? You sure you want this one, sweetheart?" He asked with a brow raised.

"Yea!" She nodded.

Baji smiled and puts the packet into the shopping basket, before taking her hand once more.

He quickly spotted some (favorite snack) which he knew (Y/n) love. Perhaps, he should buy her something as well.

"Would that be all for you, sir?" The cashier asked.

"Uh, yes, ma'am."

"Your total is 2300¥!" She said as Baji scans his money card into the machine.

He then glanced over towards his daughter, seeing her quietly staring at something. Curious, he averted his eyes towards two children with their mom.

The little boy, who appeared around eight was playing peekaboo with his baby brother as the toddler cooed and giggled happily.

"Thank you and here's your receipt. Have a wonderful day!" the cashier said happily, giving him the paper.
