Lunch

SHAILENE'S POV

We started to drive when I asked him,
"So what's for lunch"
"You'll see." He said with a smirk
After about 10 minutes of talking and laughing about our new movie, we pulled into McDonalds. I started to laugh,
"This is where we're going to eat?"
"Yeah, is there something wrong." Theo had a worried look on his face.
"No! Not at all. I actually would prefer this than some fancy Italian restaurant."

We both started to laugh and walked into the restaurant.

Theo and I walked up to the counter to place our orders.
"Ladies first." Theo said with a slight smile. I gave him a little smile and placed my order.

"I'll just have an order of fries, please." I looked back at Theo, he had a crazy look on his face.
"We come to McDonalds and all you're getting is fries?!" He exclaimed.
"Yeahhhh." I responded.
"Okay whatever, Shai." He stepped up to place his order.
"I'll have a double cheeseburger and two vanilla milkshakes." He told the lady.
"You're going to drink two whole milkshakes?!" I looked at him like he was insane.

"No, Shai, I'm not that fat. I got one for you too." He winked. I just rolled my eyes as we went to go sit in a booth.

Theo's POV

Our lunch was filled with mostly getting to know each other and throwing fries at each other. I learned a lot about Shai and she's quite interesting. There's just something so intriguing about her.

We got in my car and started driving back to the apartment building.
The car ride was filled with our conversation about Divergent and working together. I had felt like I could talk to her for hours. Even though we just met, I feel like Shai and I are best friends.
