The tears said it all~ contestshipping fanfic

Part 1- I did it!

May ran over to her pokemon and hugged them with great might. They hugged back equally happy like her.
May was crying, and not tears of sadness. These were tears of joy she defeated soledad. The rival that proved to be May's toughest, finally overcoming that obstacle May finally did it, she had finally done it. She has now become a top coordinator and is walking over to Soledad with a great smile on her face. She slowly speaks and says.
"Thanks for the amazing battle, Soledad you were really good!" Soledad smiled at the younger girl and held her hand out "You were amazing too, I'm really proud of you May. You have come such a long way and have grown really strong. I was really grateful to have battled you once again!" Those words filled May's heart with joy, she shook hands with Soledad and walked up to get her ribbon cup. She bowed to the 3 judges that praised her. She liked being praised it gave her more self confidence. May accepted the cup and rose it up to the sky and the audience were cheering and other coordinators clapped and congratulated her on her success.
The audiences cheers soon died down and May walked back to where all coordinators would wait for their turn to perform. She saw Soledad& Drew talking. May decided to step back a little and heard Soledad say "Drew, You know you Like May, now's the chance tell her you like her you Chicken!" Drew gave her a confused look and said " What? You like Harley?! And last time I checked Chickens aren't green. Soledad face palmed and said something slowly but calmly "No Drew, I have Brock I don't like Harley, and Yes I know chickens aren't green but there must be a rare breed named DREW. Who is too dense to even notice he likes a really pretty girl! May was shocked and put a hand on her mouth to stop her laughing. Soledad sighed again and put her hands on Drew's shoulders and she looked into his eyes and said "Drew, I wish you knew what love was, because you really like May. Your mind may not be saying that, but your heart is so just tell her cuz she feels the same!"
May now blushing madly decided to show herself leaving Soledad smiling a little and a little startled. "Oh hey May, how much did you hear?"
May decided to answer honestly. "To to be honest only you shouting at him for being dense. Soledad laughed and looked towards Drew who had either been blushing or trying to hide it which was noticed easily by May.
"Hey Drew!" He noticed her and decided to go back to being who he was and not being shy when talking to Soledad about May. "Hi May, you finally did it Huh? About time I mean I was waiting until you caught up with me! Looks like you are a top coordinator, but I bet if I was your opponent you would have lost! Cuz I'm the better coordinator remember that. May felt her fists clenching and being the hot headed girl who reacts so quickly to any teasing of Drew's retorted with "Oh really? You lost to that Alyssa girl in less than a minute grasshead so I wouldn't start if I were you." Soledad looked at them with amusement and told them "You both act like a married couple perhaps you should consider that Drew!"
Drew looked away and then retorted with "Shouldn't you be seeing Brock right now? He probably is wondering where his beloved is.
Soledad hated it when Drew teased her about Brock. She was about to rip his throat apart when May holds her back. "Hey Soledad calm down, Brock wouldn't want you being upset okay? Said May assuringly. Soledad sighed and May let go of her and Soledad said bye to May&Drew and she left the 2 on their own.
