Ch9- i finally understand

Drew's Pov

"Man... Whenever I see May and Paul together it makes me so frustrated...But why? May and Paul are just best friends.. Plus he's dating that coordinator Dawn. Soledad told me that I'm stupid for not realising May's feelings... Feelings? What does she mean? Does May like me as a friend or more?... Wait that's it! OH MY GOD how could I have been so stupid?! May... likes me and I hurt her with my denseness... No wonder she can't even look at me properly...it's because she's dealing with the thought that I rejected her... OMG I gotta go tell her how I feel!"

May woke up the next morning and let out all her pokemon and they headed down to go eat some breakfast. May smiled when she saw some people sitting down, and it was Soledad, Drew's cousin Cheryl and Yasmin (meeee). They all noticed her and told her to come over.
"Hey May, You Okay?" Said Yasmin with a big smile on her face. "Yeah I'm good, How about you?" "I'm fine, as well thanks". " we were talking about an upcoming contest in Sinnoh, in a city called Jubilife! You see I know you have become top coordinator but getting more wins won't kill you girl(;"
She laughed and said "True, and if Dawn is back we can compete!"
"Dawn is still in Unova... "
May turned around and saw Paul looking kinda upset and annoyed about something. "Hey everything okay?" Paul looked at her and showed her a small smile. "Yeah why do you ask?"
"You look really upset come on were friends you can tell me!"
"Alright...We had an argument about you". What happened?" "Well.. like you said she isn't very happy with me being here with you... I also said to her I don't like the fact she's hanging out with Ash... then she said bye and got angry at me... so we might break up." "Oh I'm sorry Paul, I hope things work out for you". "Thanks May, well to be honest I'm actually kinda glad I mean she is pretty possessive. You know that right May?" "Yeah I do, but she loves you Paul, so try to work things out I'm going to go and train with Soledad see you later!" Paul sighs and decides to do some training of his own and then sees Drew talking to a girl on a screen. "Is that Dawn?" He looks closer and sees it Is Dawn. "How does she know Drew?" He heard Dawn speaking. "So Drew, I wanna ask you a question, since May is my best friend and all do you like her?" Drew hesitated for a second and said "I think I Do, but if I tell her she won't believe Me and plus your boyfriend will try to hurt me again". "I'll deal with him, you go get your girl... Before she dies...". Paul's face went blank and it filled with shock and anger. He had an idea about what Dawn was hinting at but he couldn't believe his own girlfriend would try to kill her own best friend. "But she's in Unova, unless she's working with him... ". Drew blinked at Dawn back and forth and then said. "What do you mean by before she dies?" Dawn laughed and said "Oh so dense Drew, you'll see so go get her before it is too late!" (A/N: alliteration xD)
Paul had enough he went up to the screen and Dawn looked surprised. She suddenly had an innocent look on her face and Paul knew she was trying to deny everything he had heard. "Dawn how could you, I thought you and May we're best friends! How could you even want that?" "I don't have to explain I'll let someone else do it. Goodbye for now". "DAAAAWN!" "Damn she's crazy, Drew we gotta save May".
Drew understood and released his Roserade and they went after May.

May: Glaceon use shadow ball and Blaziken sky uppercut!

Drew laughed and playfully hit his arm and said "Oh shush, come on we gotta save May!" Paul saw a girl on the floor barely conscious and saw a weak and injured Sylveon next to it". "No way... Yasmin! Were coming!" "Are you okay, what happened?" "I was on my way here to see Drew but Dawn and this pokemon...attacked me with several legendaries my pokemon and I defeated them but we we're all poisoned by a Drapion and now were all pretty wiped out... "Of course, she defeated me in battle and anyways their ship flew back it looks like they're going towards Whirlpool islands". "Isn't that rumoured to where Lugia is?"
