he is the one that did this to me. but i'm the one who fell asleep instead of taking the plan b and forgot.
"you good baby" he came in the room.
"yeah i'm good. can you help me up real quick"
he grabbed my hand i scooted off the bed. as soon as i stood up, whoosh!
the shit just came out.
"that mean your water broke right?" he looked so shocked.
"yeah. pass me my phone"
he grabbed my phone and passed it to me. i called the midwife.
"hello"
"tara. my water broke. what do i do"
"you have to wait 12 to 24 hours to come to the hospital if you're not feeling contractions"
"well i think i was feeling some braxton hicks"
"but your water hadn't broke correct"
"yeah"
"ok we'll those were braxton hicks. call me back in at least 12 hours and i can tell you what to do"
"okay"
"congratulations" she hung up.
"jah can you bring me some of your sweat pants. im so uncomfortable"
"alright" he passed me some of his grey sweat pants.
my midwife had already told me that i can't really shower after my water breaks even though i want to, it would be too risky and it can increase infection.
i changed my underwear and pants and got back in the bed.
oh i cleaned the water up too..ian that damn lazy.
i called my parents.
"hey baby how you doing"
"my water broke but i gotta wait to go the hospital"
"ohhh my baby is having a baby. i cant believe this mess. lemme speak to jordan"
i passed him the phone.
"hey ms. ronnie"
"hello jordan. i can already tell you're going to be a great, protective father. i'm so proud of you guys"
