I woke up later that after-noon.

The birds were still singing and the sun was still shining.

It was about 4:30 or 5:00.

I sat up slowly with my head pounding.

There were multiple salty outlines on my face from the tears.

I clenched my eyes and then slowly let go.

I straightened up and looked around.

I saw no one.

Just as I was assuming no one was home I heard a cling and clang of dishes in the kitchen.

"Mom?"
I asked questioningly.

I got no response.

"Demetri?"

I called out.

Once again there was no reply.

I fell back into the couch letting the cushions consume me.

Then a voice came.

It sounded familiar.

I couldn't quite tell who it was though.

Footsteps followed the voice.

Then a face appeared from around the corner.

It was Kenley.

"Do want anything to eat you were sleeping for a long time?" , she asked.

"Uh, no."

I stammered.

"What are you doing here you were at the school when we left school and you shouldn't be here."

I wasn't sure how to confront her about what I knew, but I knew I had to tell her some how.

"I came here for our sleepover. My mom picked me up from school and dropped me off here." , she explained.

She continued.

"Then I saw you outside crying so I brought you in an....."

That's when I cut her off.

"Don't even try to make it seem like you aren't cause I know you are. No more games. No more faking. No more lies. I can't believe you put me through this. I trusted u and I never thought u would do such a thing, so save your sob story and leave."

"What are you talking about?", she replied.

"You are the account. You are anonymous."

I finally said it and there was a hint of disbelief in my voice as I said it.

I couldn't believe Kenley was anonymous.
