Chapter 3 | Festival

Kaeya grabbed his school bag and took his time walking down the apartment stairs, he saw the landlord of the apartment and offered to help him carry his grocery bags. The landlord refused but Kaeya insisted since he's an old man. Kaeya also wanted to take this opportunity to ask about his neighbor.

'Mister Richard, do you know who is the person staying on the opposite side of my apartment?'

'Ah yes, he's a kind young man, he is also very pretty. He moved in with his parents a few days ago.'

'Is this your apartment?'

'Yes, thank you Kaeya. Don't be late for school.'

'No problem Mister Richard, ask for help anytime!' 

Kaeya ran to school excited to see albedo and ask about him being Kaeya's neighbor. He saw Childe so he took the long way to his classroom, from the gym door to the stairs then to the 3rd floor. 

'Hey Albedo!'

'Hello Kaeya.'

'So you're my neighbor?

'Apparently, yes.'

Albedo smiled.

Albedo POV:

I saw Kaeya rush into the classroom running to my table, asking me about how I'm his neighbor. The excitement in his eyes were adorable when he asked.

No one POV:

The homeroom teacher walked in announcing that the school festival is coming up, and that we had to pick out what we wanted our class to be. There were so many suggestions, haunted house, animal cafe, butler cafe, surprisingly no maid cafe, fast food restaurant, deserts shop, there was alot of suggestions. 

The teacher had wrote out everyone's suggestions and told everyone to write on a piece of paper on what their class would be. More than half of the class picked butler cafe, boys picked butler cafe because they wanted to look cool, girls picked butler cafe because they wanted to be in suits.

sorry for posting this chapter late, and its really short too. ive been dealing with some problems and havent had much time. ill be back with a good chapter tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
