Chapter 5 | Performance

Kaeya slammed the door of the club room while huffing for breath.

'I'M HERE!'

'Took you long enough, quick, we gotta go on stage already.'

The nervous group of teenagers slowly walk to the backstage waiting for their turn, as this is their first time performing infront of such a huge crowd. After 5 minutes, they slowly walked out of the red curtains, preparing their instruments. Kaeya got his bass ready and tried looking for Albedo, Albedo wasn't there, he's not there. Where is Albedo? Kaeya gloomed knowing Abedo isn't here, but proceeded to go on with his performance. 

Time skip to where they're halfway with the performance, Kaeya, still looking for Albedo, finally saw him. He got excited and smiled. He happily went on with the performance, with cheers and screams, all he could see was Albedo.

Kaeya grabbed his bass right after the performance and ran out of the backstage, he went to the back of the school to look for Albedo. He finally saw Albedo. 

'Albedo Albedo! Did you see me?! Was I cool?!'

'Yes you were, you certainly were.'

Kaeya heard some noises and grabbed Albedo, running to the gym. Heading up the stairs, hiding at the railings of the gym, hoping his fangirls won't find him. 

'Kaeya what are yo-'

Kaeya immediately covered Albedo's mouth and lip synced 'I will explain later'. 

'Where is Kaeya? I really need his autograph right now!!'

'Ugh shut up we're all looking for Kaeya alright?!'

After around 5 minutes, his fangirls has left. 

'Haha just some fans, don't mind them.'

'Must be tough being popular huh'

Albedo looked at Kaeya with a 'I'm annoyed' face. Kaeya laughed and apologized for the inconvenience. They both sat down on the floor and began talking. They had reached a topic where they both were interested in. 

'I KNOW RIGHT? LIKE HE WAS SO COOL!'

Unconsciously, his face got closer to Albedo's. They both stared at each other for about a minute, blushing heavily. They both stared at each others eyes, their faces were close enough that if Kaeya moved even just abit, their lips would touch. A bunch of students walking in got them to stop looking at each other and hid. While hiding, Kaeya was blushing an unhealthy amount. He had so many thoughts running through his head. 

'Should I have moved just now?'

'Should I have kissed him just now?'

'Does Albedo feel the same?'

'Does Albedo feel disgusted?'

'Would he liked it if I had kissed him?'

So many mixed feelings and thoughts, he couldn't clear his head. The students were in the gym for about 20 minutes. They all left after that, Kaeya got up to peek and see if they were still there. He hand signed at Albedo to get up. Albedo did not look at him, he was wondering if he was mad at him, or even pissed. He grabbed Albedo's arm and ran down the stairs with him and they got to the school's front gate.

'Wanna skip?'

'Kaeya, I hope you know you're asking a star student.'

'I do, very much.'

'....'

'Wanna skip..?'

Albedo sighed and nodded, Kaeya happily grabbed Albedo's hand bringing him to hangout with him. They had a few more hours before the fireworks anyways. They did all sorts of things, they went to an arcade, they went to a fast food restaurant. They visited all kinds of shops that fitted their tastes, Kaeya visited a music shop to get himself some new strings, Albedo went to a book store. They both accompanied each other to their shops, Albedo even got some new glasses, he had to get new ones eventually anyways.

They both had not forgotten about the incident that happened earlier, they were both keeping their cool about it, as if nothing had happened.
