The Feed

Lillian's POV

"Can I help you?" a man around the age of 40 asked Reagan and me, in a split second Reagan had seized him by the throat and dug her fangs into his neck. "Dad!" a boy around my age screamed, oh come on boy screaming will only make me hurt you more. With an insane amount of speed I had run over to the boy and bore my fangs into his throat, my fangs being sure to cut an artery so rich hot thick blood filled my mouth. He tasted of black berries, absolutely delicious. A minute later the boy was drained completely and I began to search for more people, I need blood now!

The screams from Reagan's new victim pleased my ears as I caught up with a frightened woman that was crying hysterically, to be nice I snapped her neck before feeding on her. Blood still poured from the open wound but it didn't taste as good as the boys, oh well there are still more people to kill. A teenage girl with vibrant green eyes caught my eye, she couldn't be older than 15, I should let her go but her heart beat is just enticing. "Please, please don't hurt me I beg!" The girl screamed as I dug my fangs into her wrist, tasting the delectable sweetness of her blood. Dead within seconds I dropped the lifeless body of the girl only to see four bodies moving quickly into the clearing.

Calum's POV

James's dead body lay on the floor, when he's burried I will sure spit on his grave, nobody touches my girl. Connor and Tristan are around here living still, great 2 down 2 to go. I look around the house, searching as quickly as I can for them when suddenly I was kicked in the back.

"Miss us Cal? Oh I guess not" Connor scoffed out whilst punching me in the face. I threw my fist back and then slammed it into his jaw, when I heard bone crack it brought a smile to my face. "You won't find it funny when you're dead and your mate is ours" Connor growled.

The image of Lillian in their arms made my human form give submission to my inner vampire. I couldn't control what was happening all I know was that I am ripping Connor's jaw open until it snaps in half. "Never even joke about touching my mate" I screamed, breaking his jaw in that second.

I then regained control and saw Connor laying lifeless on the floor, now to find Tristan.

Michael's POV

Luke and I were holding Tristan's arms back while Ashton gutted him. Can't Ash go faster I need to find Lilly. Calum then bursted in the room, looked at us, muttered "Connor is dead let's go" then ran. He's going to Lilly, I know it. Ashton then used the bone from Tristan's forearm and stabbed it threw his skull, killing him instantly.

Now to find Lilly and Reagan.

Lillian's POV

As the four bodies entered the clearing I threw my meal on the ground and went to run. "Not so fast princess" Calum said while grabbing my wrist and pulling me to his side. "Let me go Cal" I said while trying to shake away, "Princess we're going home come on" he said asertively. "No I'm not going" I growled, Michael then stepped up and said "Babe it's the easy way or the hard way, your choice." I growled, pushed Calum away, then began to run. Barely make it a mile before I was stopped by Calum and Michael.

"Let me go Calum!" I screamed as he threw me over his shoulder. "Michael can you go get the car, we need to get out of here soon" he said. Seconds later Michael was gone. We got back to the clearing to see that Reagan was being held back by Luke.

"Ash what's wrong with them?" Calum asked, "hey! Right here Cal" I snapped. "Feeding frenzy, in a few hours they'll be back to their normal selves or asleep, new vamps always take to much on their first frenzy" Ashton said. By now I've given up, yes I'm craving blood like a mad woman but I know I'm not going anywhere.

Michael then pulled up with the car: Ashton sat in the passenger seat, Michael drove, Luke and Reagan we're in the middle, while Calum and me are in the far back. Calum held a tight grip on me, not surprising though. "Lilly?" I heard him say, "yeah Cal?" I answered. "I love you" he said while kissing my head, I felt my heart skip a beat as I mumbled "I love you more my prince" while falling into a deep sleep. The final words I heard were "goodnight princess, sweet dreams."
