First Rain

Strangers

"You'll catch a cold if you'll just sit there and get soaked in the rain" He said.

He extended his hand out for her to take support and stand up. She held his hand and... It was really soft and her hands were cold because of the rain.

He gave her some water to drink and she took it, there was a bench nearby "let's go there" He said and they went there to sit. Thank god the bench was not wet since it was under a building......

"So what happened? " Asked the dimple boy. "Why should I tell you?, I don't even know you" She said. "It's better to share your problem with a stranger" He said with a small smile on his face. "My..... " "My best friend died, s-she had an accident while we were on a trip" Her voice cracked a little and remembering the event , the tears came back in her eyes again and a warm tear left her eyes again. But this time there was someone to wipe her tears away. She tried reaching her cheeks to wipe the tear but a hand streched out to do that for her. The dimple boy did it again. Giving her some kind of feeling in the stomach.

He just smiled again, Oh! That smile really does something to her!

She told him everything, she doesn't even knows why she trusts him so much to tell her darkest memories to him. And he just simply said "life has its own ups and downs you just need to move on with life, I know it'll be hard but time heals everything". And being the crazy girl she is she said "Why can't I see the ups in life? ". He chuckled at her answer and said " Just wait for the ups".

Now it was awkward. What should she say to break the awkwardness. "Are you single? " She asked. 'Are you stupid Kang Y/N! What the heck are you asking!' She thought to herself but the boy still answers anyways. "Since birth" He said. "Same here" Says the girl. "You don't like anyone? You don't even have a crush? " Asks the dimple boy and she just simply says "I used to like someone in high school but puberty hit me and I grew taller than him" She said with a pout.

"I also had a crush on someone" He said.
"What was her name? " She asks "Park Yeobin" He says. "So why didn't you confess?" She asks. "She went abroad for her studies and I lost all the chances" He says sadly, regret shows in his voice. "You'll find someone, You are too handsome to be alone" She says without thinking twice leaving the dimple boy blushing at the 'You are too handsome to be alone'.

"Too bad we're strangers", "I have to go now, it's too late. I should be home by now ,it's almost night" She said standing up and the boy stands too ,holding the umbrella.

"It's still raining, you should take this umbrella with you. " Says the dimple boy.
"What about you? "She asks " I live nearby, I don't need this that much" He says handing the umbrella to her and started running to his apartment.

"At least tell me your name!!! " The girl screams from behind, but the boy was too busy to listen. She sighs and turns around but finds a keychain on the floor he maybe dropped it while running.

"Let's see if we will meet again"... By destiny. She says the last two word in her mind looking at the keychain, she puts it in her bag and continues to walk to the bus stop again.

-Meanwhile-

Finally reaching to his apartment he goes to take a shower. Even though his apartment was nearby he still got wet a little but he didn't regretted giving his umbrella to that stranger.

While the warm shower flows down his skin, he keeps smiling while thinking of that girl.

The way she looked at him when he approached her and protected her from rain with that umbrella. The cold yet soft touch of her hand as she held his hand for support to stand up. Her eyes held the whole galaxy, sparkling under the moonlight. Everything about her was messing up with his heart. And he couldn't do anything but smile.

"Let's see if we'll ever meet again" He says to himself smiling yet again..
