I was listening to music in my room

When I heard dad yell for me

I sighed and took off my headphones

"Yes dad ?" I yelled back. There was no reply. So I put them back on.

He yelled again and once again I answered but there wasn't any reply.

I went down the stairs and asked mom
" Mom why does dad keep calling me? What does he need?" I sighed

She looked at me with a look of sympathy on her face

"Did you forget to take your meds again ?"
