He watched as her eyes sparkled,
She watched as his eyes turned dull,
He saw her for her true self,
She was led on by her thoughts,
But alas,
They were yet to discover,
The path of ending their misconceptions,
So
They just left them to be,
Till their love rot and withered,
And their hearts longed for freedom,
They lost against the battle of love
