People were at a funeral, everyone was either crying or silently standing next to the grave. After sometime, people began to leave, one after another. Except one person, they stood in front of the grave and stared at it.

"I'm so sorry.....I- I wish I saw the signs earlier.....then....then" they interrupted themselves with a hiccup. They kneeled down to the grave and placed white asphodels on the grave.

The grave read:

R.I.P.
(Y/n) (l/n)
XXXX-XXXX
A child and friend for many,
you will be missed.
May you lay in piece.

(Y/n)'s pov

'I'm so bored, I just finished watching the anime where students kill each other and have a class trial' was all I had in mind. I took my phone, that laid next to me and checked the time. 'Shit! It's already 3 am?!. Oh god...and I have school. Guess no sleep for me then' I sighed, I knew I should sleep but I wasn't really tired. So what do you do? Watch more anime or read more mangas, so I got up from my bed. Went over to the shelf and took out Tokyo ghoul, the manga is better than the anime in my opinion. Went back to my bed and started to read.

I was almost finished when I heard my alarm clock.'Guess I have to get ready' I sighed with annoyance, I didn't really like school, but I went to get ready anyway.

Time skip

I was in my classroom with my head down and taking a little nap, before class starts. I was about to fall asleep when I heard my friend, who btw I have a crush on, call my name and poked my head. "Yo!,(y/n) wake up! I have to tell you something." Said the energetic voice. I lifted my head and looked at him. "What is it?" I asked in a slight bored tone. He looked at me and shook his head, "I wanted to tell you that I got two tickets to a movie and I wanted to ask if you wanna come with me?" He asked, I thought for a little, before I answered,"Yeah sure, I would like to go with you Joe". He smiled even wider and told me, he would text me when we should meet up. The bell rang and everyone went to their places and waited until the teacher came.

Time skip

I was walking home and listened to some music, when I felt my phone vibrate. "Huh? Who could that be....I hope it's not a scammer like last time" I took my phone out of the pocket and turned it on, I opened my phone and looked at the message.

Hey! Joe here, wanted to tell you that we meet at 7pm on Saturday. I'll pick you up! See ya :)

I answered back and turned off my phone and continued to walk home. I felt a little warm and I couldn't help but smile. 'I'm getting to spent time with Joe, a dream come true' I was in my thoughts and didn't realise that I was already home. I shook my head and went inside. "I'M HOME!!" I called out, but nobody was home. Mom and mother are still working and my brother is still in school. I took of my shoes and jacket, threw my bag in some lonely corner and went to the kitchen.

'Let's see.....I guess a box of cereal will do, I'm to lazy to cook anyway ' And with that in mind, I took my favourite cereal and went into my room, to do homework.
