Third pov

"Mister Zhongli!", a male called out, walking fast to the person they called after. The person turned around and gave a small smile,"Why hello there (y/n), what do you need?", Zhongli politely asked (y/n), who smiled brightly at him. "I wanted to know if you want to drink tea with me later?", (y/n) suggested and looked at Zhonglis eyes. He in return hummed and closed his eyes for some seconds, "Of course, I would be delighted to drink some tea with you", he finally gave an answer. (Y/n)'s eyes shone even brighter and he gave a huge grin. After making some arrangements on the time and place, both parted ways.

Zhongli walked to his work, (y/n) made his way towards the jade chamber. He was bouncing in his steps and smiling like no tomorrow. (Y/n)'s thoughts were all around and he just couldn't help, but go after Zhongli, he was polite, interesting, handsome, wise and intelligent. Zhongli is for (y/n) the definition of perfection. When he arrived at the Jade chamber, he ran to his best and childhood friend. Who this person is? You may wonder, well no other then lady Ningguang.

"NINGGUANG!!", he shouted when he finally found her, she was sitting at a office table and looking through many documents and papers. She looked up at the mentions of her name and smiled when she saw (y/n). She placed the paper down and stood up, "Nice to see you too (y/n)", she greeted him. He came to a stop in front of her and gave her a big hug, which she returned. The excitement was practically writing in (y/n)'s face.

She raised one of her eyebrows in question, wondering why he is here, but she isn't complaining. "Me and mister Zhongli are gonna meet later today! Isn't that great?", he excitedly told her. Ningguang was surprised and gave (y/n) a smile, but she felt saddened by this.

"That's amazing (y/n), you can tell me more another time, I'm really busy", Ningguang stated and went back to the desk and continued her work. (Y/n)'s smile vanished and was replaced with a sad and disappointed look. The room lost it's comfortable atmosphere and turned awkward and monotone. (Y/n) looked at the floor and sighed, "Sorry Ning, I'll tell you later. See you soon", with that (y/n) left and went home.

Ningguang's mood dropped significantly and she felt the stress and sadness overcome her. All she wants was piece and a moment to relax, but it had to wait until she was finished with work.

Back to (y/n), he was laying in his bed and thinking about everything that happened today. He was happy and all, but he felt that his relationship with Ningguang was straining, they rarely hangout or talk. Ningguang is always to busy and has no time for almost anything. He wished they were kids again, were everything was fine and were they had only each other. 'Don't think like that (y/n)! You should be happy on what Ning achieved ',was what he tried to tell himself.

Suddenly a memory replayed, one he felt like it only happened yesterday.

Two little children were laughing and playing around, both were happy. They didn't have a care whatsoever and only cared about what's happening right now. Both played by the water and chased each other around.

The joy that he felt so often back then was almost nonexistent today, until he met Zhongli, who helped him in his first day working at the parlour. The intelligence and wisdom he displayed, made (y/n) fall for him. Zhongli brought that joy back and (y/n) never wants to lose that ever again. So he is trying to seduce Zhongli and get together with him forever.

(Y/n) squealed like a little girl, his face grew hot and he had a weird smile on his face. Not the first time this happened, the mere thought of Zhongli saying 'I love you', made him weak in the knees. All (y/n) can think about is to be held by those arms of his and his voice whispering sweet nothings into his ear. So he began his daydreaming about Zhongli and his future together.
