1971, FIRST YEARI skip along side my older brother and his girlfriend Narcissa with an excited grin on my face, his hand holding mine tightly so I don't get lost in the busy crowd of the station platform.
"Is Hogwarts fun?" I ask the older girl curiously, looking up at her.
"Of course. Especially in first year" She assures me as we stop.
"Lucius, what if I don't get sorted into Slytherin like you and Cissy?" I question worriedly before my smile drops completely "What if I'm a Hufflepuff? Or worse, a Gryffindor?"
He chuckles in amusement and crouches down in front of me, fixing my neat braids of blonde.
"You're a Malfoy, Evangeline. We're born Slytherins" He tells me, pinching my cheek "You don't have to be worried about being sorted into another house"
"Angel, look who it is" Narcissa coos, pointing behind me.
I turn from them to see Regulus and Sirius Black with their parents, both brothers looking bored and tired.
"Reggie! Siri!" I squeal, bounding over to them happily.
They both perk up, smiling at me as I approach them with Lucius and Narcissa in tow. I wrap my little arms around both of them and they hug me back.
"Are you excited, Siri?" I ask the dark haired boy cheerily.
"Meh" He shrugs.
I open my mouth to reply but the train whistle pierces through the air and Lucius wraps an arm around Narcissa.
"Come on, you two" Narcissa chirps, glancing at Sirius and I.
"Eva, wait!" Regulus pipes up and I turn to the younger boy in confusion.
He holds up a pretty white flower and I tilt my head in confusion.
"What is this for?" I ask in confusion, taking it from him.
"Told you she wouldn't like it" Sirius mutters and Regulus' cheeks burn pink.
"I do like it" I argue, thumping the older brother on the arm.
"I'll see you at christmas, Eva" Regulus mumbles shyly.
"See you, Reggie" I grin widely, leaning forward and pressing a kiss to his hot cheek.
He smiles happily as Sirius drags me onto the train behind my brother and Narcissa. Sirius falls a little bit behind the older two of our group and I wander behind him, smiling down at the flower in my hands.
Due to the fact I'm not looking where I'm going, I bump into someone and I drop the flower, looking at the person in front of me in surprise. The fluffy haired boy in front of me immediately blushes in embarrassment and drops down to pick up the flower I dropped.
"I'm really sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going and I should have been. I got distracted and now your flower is missing a petal" He rambles out nervously, holding up the flower in one hand and the fallen petal in the other.
