(Hi! This is the first story I've written. I plan to stay consistent as I write it.  Enjoy :)x )

I rush to the bathroom and twist the knob to the right to lock it.  I rip my clothes off and jump into the scolding shower as quick as possible to avoid the door opening with a watchful stare searching across my face and then to my body.  Not that Peter would intentionally do that because he knows how uncomfortable that is to me.  He always tells me that I shouldn’t be ashamed of my body, and that a lot of ladies out there would love to be skinny as I am, but have the thickness where I need it.  All of his words etch into my mind, whether they are him telling me that he needs to stay as far away from me as possible to keep me safe or the ones where he is crawling back to me and telling me that he can’t be without me.

I guess that’s part of being a super-hero behind a mask though, worrying more about the safety of others while your life is a volcano waiting to erupt.  And when that volcano does, the lava covers everything in her sight, consuming everything that she can get her hands on.  That is mainly me, because I am the only person to know that Peter is Spider-Man.
