As Harry and I catch up, he brings up ladies that he had modeled with, which leads to the question that I hoped wouldn't be asked. "You gotcha a lady?"
"Yes." Then I pause. "No." Then another pause. "I don't know. It's... complicated."
Harry gives a grin and a little chuckle. "Yeah, well I don't do complicated."
We both laugh and I shove his arm. "Damn, dude. You're strong."
"Yeah, I work out a little."
"Haha, maybe you could beat up the spider guy. This city acts like he's some kind of super-hero. I mean, look at him, he wears spandex to rescue cute little kitties from trees."
It kind of stings a little when I know that he's talking about me. It's almost offensive. But, I've learned to keep my cool in situations like this because he's smart enough to find out things like that I'm Spider-Man, that is, if he doesn't already. Oh God. I wonder if he does.
"I like to think that he gives us hope."
"Hope?! For what?"
"I dunno. Maybe that one day.. everything will be OK again..."

My apologies for not writing in so long. I've been dealing with so many things lately. But I have some great ideas that will make this story more interesting. If you've seen TASM2, the events that happen in the movie is NOT how they will be presented in this book. I've taken a few lines and things from the movie that are off the top of my head, but I want to change it up so that there are things that will happen that you didn't predict and will surprise you. :) Thanks to all for reading! xxx
