She's been on my mind so much here lately. Every day I watch her from my eagle statue placed on top of the Daily Bugle skyscraper only to make sure that she gets to that new yogurt place that she loves, work, and home safely.
It's as close as I can get to being with her and keeping her safe. It's still not good enough though. I need to be with her. If only I could...

Oscorp is just as chaotic as it always has been. There's large groups of rich geeks being led around by their tourist guides clothed in a white lab coat. This one guy really must think that blonde up there is hot. He tripped over- oh my God. That's why he tripped over that robotic contraption. He's staring at Gwen. It's taking everything in me not to go up there and knock him out for staring at her body like that.
I instantly turn on my heel and go in the opposite direction. Hopefully she didn't see my scurrying away.
I find my way to some kind of cafeteria-break-room thing. I know the last thing on my mind right now should be food, but a man's got to eat. Haha, I just called myself a man. Wow. I'm really ADD.
I get a crazy glance from a woman in some sky high black heels and a conservative red dress for laughing at myself while sitting here at this table alone. I don't blame her though. By the looks of me right now, my blood shot eyes and crazy matted hair, I would be concerned for my health too if I were her.
But it's not my health that's in jeopardy, it's this empty burning hole in the bottom of my chest that's only filled when I'm with Gwen. I came here so that maybe I would get the chance to watch her without her seeing me, but that's a very difficult task.
I'm brought out of my trance when I see a familiar face show up on the news on the tv screen hung on the wall. Out of the giant news spill, the only information I am able to gather is a few things.
Norman Osborn has been pronounced dead.
He is survived by his one and only son, Harry Osborn, who is now here to take his father's place as the owner of Oscorp.
