Chapter 1

Prologue

Hi, I am Song Jiyang a  BL Novel writer and I write under Pen Name- Xiao Xingchen. 

I follow four rules in my life:-

1) Read 

2) Write

3) Hide from the doorbell because what Kind of monster just turns up unannounced?

4) Eat snacks.

THE MAFIA LOVERS is both acclaimed and commercially successful. So successful, in fact, that it is getting adapted into a BL drama. 

Just when I had just cursed Wen Ning for being late like he had always been since high school I hear the doorbell.

"I was hoping that you would not keep me waiting," I said making an irritated face as I opened the door.

"Can we talk inside or Do you want to insult me here?" Wen Ning laughed and hugged me tightly.

Wen Ning is my childhood friend we both grew up in the same orphanage. He is the only one who knows that I am an omega and only I know that he is the beta. For others, we are Alpha males because only they are given privileged in the state where we live.

He is now the director in one of the biggest film studios which are around 8 hours drive from where I stay. He proposed the idea of changing my BL Novel into a drama which is also kind of his first project.

"Hmm." I allowed him to enter and we sat in the discussion room.

"So let's start." Wen Ning said, "What are your terms and conditions? I need to send these details to the chairman and after he approves it we will soon start shooting."

"My picture should not be taken anywhere,"

"Ok." he nodded.

"Nobody should know my real name."

"Ok." he nodded.

"and last but not least I won't interact with any person of the film industry did you get that or should I refuse the proposal?"

Wen Ning looked at me and then sighed, "Why are you always so stingy. Ok, fine but you will have to agree on one thing."

"Sure only if it does not involve leaking my real identity," I replied.

"You cannot live here anymore. You will have-" 

Before he could complete I cut off. "No, I won't." 

"Jiyang, I agreed to all your terms you have to at least agree to this."

"Why do you need me for that?" I asked as I don't see any reason why I should stay there.

"As per terms of the studios until the shooting is wrapped up the original writer of the story need to stay in their premises and also I need your assistance in all this." Wen Ning said and suddenly he looked at me with puppy eyes, "This is my first time directing the drama I need you by side because you know your story characters and scenes more than I know."
