Chapter 5 🔞

I should have not taken him to the mall. Jiyang thought as he looked at his wounded hand which he had used to stop the knife from attacking them. The pain of losing Yu Liang was more than anything for him at the current time.

The car stopped and Haoxuan opened the door of the car and carried Yu Liang in his arms. 

"It is all because of you," Haoxuan yelled in a whisper at Jiyang which woke Yu Liang who was still sleeping in his arms.

He woke up rubbing his eyes and as soon as saw Jiyang he immediately leaned towards him signalling him to carry him.

"What's with you, Yu Liang? Why do you insist on being with him?" Haoxuan asked, voice full of irritation. Yu Liang said nothing but whined.

"Ok, fine." Haoxuan finally let Jiyang carry Yu Liang, "Make sure he sleeps on time."

Jiyang nodded and quietly moved to Yu Liang's bedroom.

After making sure Yu Liang was asleep Jiyang kissed his forehead and quietly moved out of the bed. With his intent gaze fixed on the little boy, he closed the door silently and as soon as he turned around his gaze met with Haoxuan's who was standing outside the room.

"Haoxuan!" Jiyang fretted and was soon dragged towards the upper floor of the villa. As soon as they reached the floor Haoxuan threw Jiyang on the floor.

"Ouch!" Jiyang yelped holding his wounded arm.

"How dare you take my child to the mall?" Haoxuan roared.

Jiyang trembled and started sliding backwards, "I-I-I- am sorry."

It seemed as if Haoxuan was deaf at the moment because his anger was at its peak right now.

Haoxuan walked towards him and grabbed him by the neck.

"Leave me Haoxuan." Jiyang groaned kicking his legs in the air, "I-I-choking."

More Jiyang groaned in pain more Haoxuan tightened the grip around him. Suddenly everything started turning blank for Jiyang and soon he stopped struggling.

"Haoxuan!!" his wife suddenly walked in and helped Jiyang who fell on the ground coughing.

"What the hell do you think you are doing?" she yelled and grabbed Haoxuan's hands.

Jiyang touched his neck with his wounded hands and the blood which was on his hand stained his neck.

"Haoxuan, have you gone mad?" she yelled.

Haoxuan turned towards Jiyang, "Next time make sure you don't put my son in any danger."

"I said I am sorry." Jiyang finally managed to yell back.

"You son of a b-. You put my son in danger and you dare try to escape with that mere sorry!!" Haoxuan fumed and was about to grab his neck again but his wife stopped him.

"I understand how much pain it would have been for you but I would not have let them harm Yu Liang," Jiyang said as tears trickled down his cheeks.

"IT IS EASY FOR YOU TO SAY. YOU DON'T HAVE SOMEBODY LIKE YU LIANG IN YOUR LIFE YOU WON'T UNDERSTAND MY PAIN. THEY COULD HAVE KILLED HIM, YOU MORON." Haoxuan said and suddenly he noticed a change in Jiyang's expression. 

Jiyang looked at him for a second the face of his newborn baby flashing in front of him and then he said nothing and started walking to his room avoiding Haoxuan to seeing him in a vulnerable state.

Jiyang suddenly stopped before leaving, "Don't speak about anybody like this until you know them personally." there was a pain in his voice which made Haoxuan feel guilty.
