Lu Xun blinked sleepily as the sounds outside his room gradually penetrated his drowsiness. He sat up, rubbing his eyes and listening to the chatter and laughter that echoed through the house.

"Morning already?" he mumbled to himself, his voice still laced with sleep.

He pushed the covers aside and swung his legs over the edge of the bed, his curiosity piqued by the commotion outside. With a yawn, he padded over to the window, pushing the curtains aside to see what was happening.

Through the glass, he saw his parents engaged in animated conversations with a group of people. His sister was practically bouncing with excitement, her gaze fixed on someone with their back turned toward him.

"Who's that?" Lu Xun wondered aloud, squinting a bit to get a better look.

He glanced at his sister's enthusiastic reaction. "Must be someone important," he mused. He had seen her react like that around celebrities before.

With a sigh, Lu Xun decided to join the gathering. He slipped out of his room through the back entrance, figuring he'd avoid the crowd for now. He chuckled to himself, thinking, "A big belly isn't the best accessory for a crowded scene."

As he made his way closer, he observed the scene from a bit of a distance, taking in the energy of the gathering. His sister's excitement was unmistakable, even from where he stood.

He leaned against a wall, arms crossed, a grin playing at the corners of his lips. "Wonder who this mystery VIP is," he thought, his curiosity growing by the second.

Lu Xun sat in his room, his thoughts still buzzing with the morning's unexpected events, when his mother entered with a food plate in hand. He looked up, surprised by her presence.

"Hey, Mom," he greeted, curiosity evident in his voice. "What's going on?"

His mother smiled, placing the food plate on the table nearby. "Well, it looks like a film crew has decided to shoot a movie here," she explained.

Lu Xun's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "A movie? Here?" he repeated, clearly intrigued.

His mother nodded, her eyes twinkling with excitement. "Yes! Isn't it exciting? They're setting up scenes and all."

Lu Xun leaned back, taking in the information. "That's quite unexpected," he remarked, his mind spinning with possibilities.

His mother's face brightened as she continued, "And you know, they even have an actor... um, what was his name again?"

Lu Xun leaned forward, his curiosity piqued. "An actor? Who is it?"

Before he could get a reply, his mother excused herself with a quick explanation about work. "Quickly clean yourself and wear good clothes," she said as she hurriedly left the room.

Lu Xun, deciding to take a moment to freshen up, grabbed a towel and headed for a quick shower. The rush of warm water against his skin was refreshing, and as he emerged from the bathroom, his senses were suddenly struck by an unexpected sight.

His room, previously rearranged by the diligent workers, was now in a state of pristine order. The air seemed to carry an almost magical freshness, the floor gleamed, and every detail appeared polished. His eyes widened in surprise, unable to fathom how the already neat room had become even cleaner in such a short time.

But the shock didn't stop there. As his gaze swept the room, it landed on the figure standing near the doorway. Haoxuan, framed by the backdrop of the now immaculate room, stood with a mixture of surprise and uncertainty etched across his features. Their eyes locked in an unspoken exchange of astonishment, a flood of memories and emotions crashing through their shared gaze.

Before any words could find their way to their lips, Lu Xun's sister's voice broke the tension. "Lu Xun, I need to take this call from Mom. Can you please take care of arranging Haoxuan's rest?" With those hurried words, she excused herself, leaving the two men in a state of shock.

Lu Xun's heart raced as he stood there, facing the person from his past who had unexpectedly reappeared. The room seemed to hold its breath, waiting for the impending conversation that would undoubtedly unravel the layers of time that had separated them.

Haoxuan's gaze traveled across Lu Xun's form, from head to toe, until it settled on his stomach. His eyes seemed to hold a mixture of surprise and realization as he took in the subtle changes that time had wrought. In that moment, a silent calculation unfolded within his mind, the pieces of a puzzle falling into place.

Five months had passed since their paths had last crossed, and as the pieces of the puzzle aligned, the truth became undeniable. The child growing within Lu Xun was undoubtedly his own.

He took a deep breath, his gaze still fixed on Lu Xun's stomach, before he finally managed to stammer out the question that had been weighing on his mind, "Is... is the child... mine?"

Lu Xun's voice held a touch of earnestness as he quickly addressed the unspoken doubt in Haoxuan's eyes, "I want you to know, Haoxuan, that I wasn't planning to keep it a secret from you. I only found out about the..."

Before Lu Xun could say anything more, Haoxuan took a determined step closer and kissed him. It was a surprise that left Lu Xun wide-eyed, the world around them fading as their lips met. The kiss felt like a connection between their history and the present, carrying unspoken feelings that had been waiting to surface. In that moment, time seemed to pause, holding the promise of a new beginning for them.

Their kiss continued, and Lu Xun closed his eyes. His heart eased into the moment, letting go of worries and embracing the feelings that passed between them. It was a serene pause, a quiet exchange of emotions that spoke more than words ever could.

Their stolen moment was abruptly interrupted as Lu Xun's sister walked into the room, her shock evident on her face. Amidst the chaos, the truth spilled out like a bucket of cold water – that Haoxuan was the father of the child growing inside Lu Xun's womb. The revelation was met with an awkward silence, broken only by Haoxuan's stammering attempt at an explanation.

Haoxuan, eyes downcast and clearly flustered, mumbled, "I, uh, didn't exactly plan for this... but I promise to take care of Lu Xun and our... unexpected situation."

Lu Xun's sister chimed in again, her comedic timing impeccable, "Well, looks like we're in for a twisty romantic comedy, folks!"
