[Jiyang x Haoxuan]
In the bustling streets of a city cloaked in secrets, two souls, Jiyang and Haoxuan, found solace in a love that defied the odds. Their hearts, entwined like vines seeking the sun, braved a storm of complications that fate hurled...
I sat in the seat next to the driver holding the lunch box and completely stuffed with Haoxuan's belongings.
"Make sure you pick my son from the school," Haoxuan said.
I looked at the driver awaiting his reply.
"I am saying it to you, Jiyang."
"How am I supposed to pick him. His school is in the opposite direction of the film studio and also I don't have any car." I replied, feeling savage.
Haoxuan stayed silent after my reply.
I think that was good. I smiled to myself as I looked out of the window.
The car stopped in front of the shooting site.
I got down with a bag around my shoulders and a tiffin box in one hand and an umbrella on the other.
"Hey, what are you doing? are you on a vacation hold the umbrella," Haoxuan said interrupting me.
I huffed and held the umbrella over his head and started following him.
The day passed by and the only thing I could do was follow him everywhere he went. When I finally thought of relaxing suddenly his driver came to me.
"Do you know how to drive my friend?" he asked.
Too tired I simply nodded and a key was kept aside me, "These keys are your and that is the car."
"What do you mean? I don't need a car." I said and continued with my sleep.
"Mr Haoxuan asked me to give it to you so it can be easy for you to commute."
I was still confused, "Where do I need to go?"
"to pick young master," he replied and left.
"That devil he wants me to die due to overwork." I forced myself to get up and walk.

"So where is that cute boy?" I looked as I drove into the school area and suddenly my gaze fell on Yu Liang who was looking at his friend, Chen Yu Zhi whose grandmother had just come to pick him up. He laughed the way his parents were teasing the little child and kissing him.
It was clear from his eyes that he also wanted to be treated the same but being a child of busybodies he could only go with a driver.
"Yu Liang," I called him and as soon as he saw me his eyes turned brighter and a wide smile crossed his face.
I spread my arms wide and threw them around the little boy who had run in giving him a little tickle., "How are you, my cute boy?"
He laughed and kissed me on the cheeks.
"Hey, Yu Liang. Who is this person?" Chen Yu Zhi asked who had just walked holding his grandmother's hand.
Yu Liang looked at me with glittering eyes and said, "He is my best friend."
"I have not seen him this happy when leaving the school." the old woman patted his head and smiled at me, "You must make him smile every day because kids should always smile."
"Yes. sure." I smiled and bowed my head as she walked away.
"Let's go now," I said as I tickled Yu Liang and started driving.
Yu Liang saw a mall as we stopped at a red light, "Can... we go there?" he asked pointing towards it with his little finger.
"Ok," I replied and he instantly cheered up and started jumping in the backseat which somehow made my heart feel warm.
****
We entered the mall and I could see him holding my hand and jumping like a small kangaroo.
"You have never been here it seems," I said and the little boy nodded with a slight disappointment.
"Let's eat something first, you must be hungry," I said and soon we entered the eating area.
The little boy kept telling about his friends while taking a break amidst chewing. I wiped away the cheese stuck at the corner of his lips, "Yu Liang eat slowly."
While I was smiling and listening to him I noticed a man staring at us with a stern face.
"So weird." I thought and continued talking to Yu Liang.
But then I noticed that it was not only just one person but many people sitting with the same pose around us. I could sense the danger so I calmly picked up Yu Liang.
The kid was too clever he noticed an expression on my face and whispered, "Is anything wrong bestie?"
"hmm. we are surrounded by bad people." I replied in a whisper, keeping a smile fixed on my face so that those people don't doubt us.
As I was walking away a man stood in front of me, "Hand us the baby and you can go."
"In your dreams," I shouted and kicked him hard on his knee.
"Yu Liang, keep tight," I said and ran towards the exit kicking every person that came our way.
Just when the lift door was about to close I entered holding Yu Lian and took a relaxing breath after the lift closed.
Now the next challenge was where to stop the lift as I knew that wherever the lift would stop those men will surely be in his way.
I sat on my knees, "Yu Liang when I say run make use of your small height and run as fast as you can."
The innocent boy simply nodded. Fear was clear on his face.
I held his hand and waited for the worse to happen when the lift stopped.
I was about to yell, "Run." but stopped when I saw Haoxuan standing in front of us with those people crying in pain on the floor.
He looked at me with bloodshot eyes and picked up Yu Liang. As he walked away I stood there feeling guilty for putting Yu Liang into danger.
Haoxuan suddenly stopped and turned around, "Follow me."

The tone was scary and a chill ran down my spine as I followed him with my head down.
