Dreams pov
Tw: A bit spicy, and violent.
-------------------------
The night of the great ball was approaching. During the time leading up to this, Dream and R where getting a lot closer. Dream started finding comfort, and a weird warm feeling when he was alone with R..
"I have made sure this balls preparations are in order, this isn't just about dancing. We also need to make new business partners." Dreams dad said before shoving a spoon full of eggs in his mouth.
"This town is depending on it tonight." Dad said with his mouth full
Did I also forget to mention our town was in the deep end. Ever since animal attacks have been happening. People have fled to other towns in fear of dying. The animal attacks have seemed to get bigger until now.
"Honey don't you think we should just have one night without trying to-" Clays mother started.
"What would you know! All you know is cleaning and cooking like the house servants." His dad took a sip of coffee before shoving it off to a maid. His mother stayed quite
"Sir, Mr. Manifold is here too talk." My dad's servent Quackity had walked in. Clays dad cleared his throat.
"Tell him to wait in my study.. I'll be there in a moment." Quackity nodded at the order and walked off.
"I'll make sure too help before I have to sail back to london." R said taking a sip of water.
"That's what I expect of you, since we have been letting you stay here." Clays dad stood up fixing his coat. and then had left.
That was the bad part for me. R would be leaving in 2 weeks. and I know it's not right.. But I think I have fallen for them.
"If you'll excuse me." I stood up and left without another word.
-------------------------
I laid looking at the clouds, the soft sound of the wind blowing. Leaves and grass swaying in the distance. This was the first time in months I have been able to be out here. I lay against a tree, admiring the land around me. Sometimes I wonder if this field would be gone long when I die. But I don't dwell on the future to much.
A small meow catches my attention. I look down to my side to see Patches pawing at my leg. "Hey Patches." I smiled pulling her into my lap. Giving her some scratches, I look back out to the field. The purring adding to this moment, all my problems disappear.
I wonder if I did confess, if R would like me back. Maybe we would both go back to london and he would show me his home. We would live out our lives happy. Unless he declined and I never heard from him again. I hope it would be the first option if I confessed. A snap of a twig wiped my thoughts away.
"There you are, I thought I would never find you." I suddenly turn to my right to see Drista. I turn my attention back to the field. I hear her find a seat next to me. We sat in silence for a moment until she spoke up.
"Your worried he might find out, aren't you." Drista looks out into the field.
"I don't know what your talking about." He lets patches walk to his sisters lap. His sister lets out a small laugh as she pets patches.
"You can tell when anyones in love, but you can't tell when you yourself is in love." Clay turned his head too look at his sister, with a displeased look.
"I am not in love, if I was wouldn't I already have a girl with me now."
"Who said it was a girl?" Drista raised her eyebrow with a wicked smile.
