Blood,mention of passing out

The slowly withering flower layed in the palm of my hands. The flower didn't seem to be harmful, but was apparently poisonous to others. I slip it back into my pocket before the others could notice. The sound of music seemed to get louder as I shift back into reality. My attention is caught by my friends dancing in front of me, having while cooking. I pushed back the confusing thoughts that lingered after I had woke up. 'What am I suppose to do' My thought was interrupted with arms wrapping around my waist.

"Come on georgieeee." Clay said softly against my ear.
"I'm not going to burn the meat again." I kept my focus on the pan in front of me.
"Oh come on we won't burn it again." He whined watching me
"Go dance with the other kids ." I finished mixing the sauce before adding in some salt.
"But I want to talk to you." I look up to see him smiling. I blush a bit at the sight,
"Can you at least help me cook it seems like I'm the only one now." I say a bit louder gaining Karl's and Nicks attention.
"Oh my god fine we'll help again." Nick separated himself from Karl.
"I call boiling the noodles." Karl ran to the spot next to me mixing the noodles.
"Oh come on you took the easiest job." Nick groaned.
"You can just set the table with me." Clay separated from me, grabbing plates.

Nick grabbed silverware, before disappearing into the dinning room with Clay. I take the flower out of my pocket again. Twirling it around in between my fingers, before it split into two pieces. I put one half in my pocket, while breaking up the other half and putting it in the sauce. 'Let's just see if he was lying.' I thought as I quickly mixed it. Karl strains the noodles and grabs a serving bowl to put it in. I quickly finish up the sauce, grabbing a hot pad to not burn the table. I walk into the dining room to see Nick and Clay throwing a dish towel at each other.

"Stop throwing that before you break something." I said setting down the sauce.
"Sorry mom." Clay said sarcastically before sitting down.
"Mom? I thought it was dad." Nick laughed sitting next to Clay.
"You guys are cleaning up since me and Karl did most of the cooking." Karl hummed in agreement as he set down the noodles.
"I'm starving, I could eat a horse." Karl quickly grabbed himself a serving. Everyone went around the table passing the food around.
"Thank you guys for helping with cooking." Nick smiled digging in.
"Please they barely did anything." I rolled my eyes

Nicks smile dropped as he bit down into his food. Coughing a bit as he swallowed it, looking at Clay.
"Is it bad or something." Karl frowned. Nick continued coughing, chugging his water.
"No, it's just really hot." His voice was came out  raspy. I don't look at him and just continue eating.
Clay was the next one to take a bite, taking a big bite must I add. Clay was hit with regret immediately as he spit out the food into a napkin, gasping for air.
"Oh my, are you guys okay?" Karl looked at his food a bit worried. Clay didn't answer he just continued coughing into his napkin blood seeping through a bit.
"What's in the sauce by chance." Nick smiled nervously.
"Oh you know. Just garlic and salt." I said vaguely, continuing to eat.
"Is that it?" Clay looked at me.
"Yeah why? You guys are being weird." I laughed awkwardly
"It's nothing.." Clay said looking at his food.

The rest of dinner was mostly quiet. Besides the fact Nick and Clay didn't eat. It was a pretty decent meal. I get up with my empty plate in hand, grabbing the others I head into the kitchen washing out the dishes. Clay came in the saucepan and noodles, grabbing containers to put them in. I then was hit with the realization. 'Wilbur wasn't wrong, something weird did happen.' I sigh washing the dishes. 'Don't get ahead of yourself, they probably just didn't like it' I look over at Clay who is looking at me.

"Can I help you with something?" I was washing random silverware.
"No, just was thinking." He turned to the fridge putting the leftovers away.
"About?" I said setting a pan to the side
"About stuff." He smiled sitting across from me.

I felt something sharp hit me. Digging deep into my palm, I flinch in pain. I quickly take my hand out the water, I guess I had cut myself while I was washing the dishes. I look up to see Clay, he was looking away. My thoughts took over. 'He's not lying right?'

"Can you get me a clean cloth." I smiled shyly
"Uh, yeah sure." He quickly got up leaving the room. He entered back a few minutes later, practically throwing the cloth at me.
"Thank you." I wrapped it around my hand tightly.
"Yeah no problem.." Clay turned to leave before I grabbed him.
"Can you uh, look at it real quick." I tried hiding the nervousness in my voice.
"Oh uh, I don't know." He wasn't looking at me, but rather at the ground.

I grabbed him with my injured hand, blood seeped through the cloth and onto his hand. He stood still just looking at the cloth, before quickly grabbed my hand raising it towards him. He carefully unwrapped the cloth, dropping it to the counter besides us. Clays breathing was growing heavy as his eyes were glued to the blood, seeping through George's hand. Clay brought his face down, licking up the blood from the new cut.

"Uhm.. Clay?" I winced in pain. But he didn't say anything and just kept licking it.
"What are you-" I then felt a sharp pain run through my hand again. Clay grabbed my wrist, tightly gripping it.
"Y-your hurting me." I said quietly. The fear rose in me as I tried moving my hand from him. But his grip only tightened.
"Clay stop." I said a bit louder, but he didn't budge.
"I Said Stop!" I ripped my hand away from him.

I look at my hand to see my injury was worse, blooding pouring out of it. I look up, my eyes widened in horror. Their stood Clay, His eyes blood red. Fangs covered in blood, as well as his mouth. He lunged towards me, but I dodged him making a run for it. I ran out the front door, cool air hitting my face.

I ran deep into the forest hoping to lose him in it. It was coming true, my nightmare was coming true. I pushed past branches trying to get away.
"Oh George~" Clay sang. He is a predator, and I am his prey.
"I won't hurt you I promise." His voice was laced with venom.
I heard him getting closer. I ran until I felt like I couldn't breath. I push past some bushes, tripping I feel forward hitting my head on the ground. My chest was relieved when I caught my breath again, I check my surroundings to see that I'm near a waterfall. A branch snapped, I felt like a person behind me

I'm grabbed by my shoulder, pulling me up onto my feet.
"George~" Clay whispered into my ear. Fear rises in me as I felt him move my collar down, exposing my neck.
"Let me go!" I throw the back of my head against his face, making him fall back. I crawl away ignoring the pain in the back of my head.
"Ow, you fucking bitch." Clay got up grabbing George. He got on top of me, pinning my arms behind my back.
"Why are you doing this." I still tried fighting
"Simply because.." He yanked my head back so I was looking at him.
"I'm starving." Clay smiled, the moonlight reflecting off of him. Showing his fangs, and his blood thirsted eyes.

Clay brought his head down to my neck. His breathing was heavy, he licked my neck like he was trying to find the right vein. My eyes tear up as this might be my last moment alive. He sanked his teeth into my neck, pain shot through my body. I cried still fighting and wishing this was a dream. He pulled me up onto his lap, tighting his grip around my arms.

"Please...stop..." I said softly. My body felt weak I slumped against him. I couldn't find the strength to fight for my life anymore. Clays ripped away from me gasping for air. I fall forward, black blobs forming in my vision.
"George..?" Clay spoke softly
"GEORGE!" He crawled to my side.
"I-I'm so sorry." He looked at George's dull eyes all George could do was cry softly. I looked him dead in they eyes, his eyes were filled to tears and back to green.

The last thing I see is a dart in Clays neck, and a figure running up to me.

Then I was in a world full of black.
