One Sided?

CHAPTER 1 - Shaadi

"Vivah sampann hua! You are now husband and wife!"

These words made Radha cry even more. She looked at her so called husband he had the same expressions as her. He looked back at her with teary eyes.

- "Now You two can leave !"

One of the villagers spoke up and with that he rushed out of there followed by radha. He got in his car and waited for her to come. She sat in the passenger sit and with that they drove off.

After half hour they were out of the village. He stopped the car and got out.

- "Please come out. "

Radha got out she was confused. What he was doing.

"Whatever happened please forget it."

Akshaj's words shocked her and made her more confused.

Radha :- "What are you saying?"

Akshaj :- "This marriage has no meaning....We were forced to marry each other. We don't even know each other's names how can we accept this marriage?! Listen You don't have to live as my so called wife. You should forget everything and move on please."

Radha looked down she didn't know what to do. He was right they didn't even knew each other's names but she just can't forget everything and move on. But she didn't wanted to be a burden for him.

Radha :- "Ok."

Akshaj sighed in relief. He felt bad for her but what he was doing was right. This marriage was not a good thing.
And first of all he hated relationship and love. He never in his life trusted them. So how can he be a good husband.

Akshaj :- "I'll drop you to your House."

Radha :-" No just drop me to the bus stand I'll take the bus."

Akshaj :- "Listen I can drop you home."

Radha :- "Please just drop me to the bus stop. "

Akshaj sighed and nodded they got back in the car and they drove off towards the bus stand. The whole ride they were silent.

When he dropped her to the bus stop she thanked him and got out. He watched her till she was out of his sight.

Akshaj :- "Our paths are different from now on. "

He glanced back at the bus stop before leaving and drove off.

Radha got the bus to pune. She looked out the window. She was nervous about her parents reaction what she was going to tell them. That she got married but she doesn't know his name.

Everyone was giving her weird looks. Of course they must be wondering where is her husband. She was going to get asked this question alot from now on.

When radha reached home she was too nervous. Everyone in the society was giving her the same weird looks. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

Her dad opened the door, he smiled at her but his smile dropped when he saw her sindoor [vermilion] and mangalsutra [a necklace that the groom ties around the bride's neck in the Indian subcontinent] . Signs of a married women. 

- "Asha! "

Her mother came rushing to the door. She was confused at first but when shs saw her daughter she was shocked too.

After lot of traveling finally akshaj reached mumbai. He rushed to his house. He kept thinking about her the whole time. What she will do? How she will explain everything to her parents? So many questions ran through his mind he just hoped and prayed that she will be ok.
