One Sided?

CHAPTER 7 - Red paint.

Radha got ready she checked the schedule again yup she had to go to his house for the aarti. The address was given in the schedule. She took the blessings for her parents and god and headed to the train station.

She was very nervous even tho no one knew about them still she was nervous after all she was going to meet her in laws. How will they be ? that crossed her mind since yesterday. With all these thoughts in her mind she boarded the local.

In one hour she reached his house. Actually it was not a house it was a mansion. The security guard stopped her at the gate.

- "Who are you?!"

Radha :- "I'm radha."

She showed him her id card of her office which she got this morning. She explained to him why she was here he nodded and let her go inside.

- "ok You can go."

She thanked him and headed inside. They had a beautiful garden , Which had various flowers. She smiled to herself. She rechecked her appearance before going inside. Everything was rich and here she was wearing just a salwar suit.

Radha :- "It's ok radha it's ok. Don't feel bad about yourself."

She tried to motivate herself. The door was already open. Red color was spilled on the floor. She heard a woman yelling at the worker.

Dadi :- "Seriously I told you to clean this mess!"

Suddenly she slipped because of the paint. Radha quickly rushed inside to hold her. But while doing so her feet turned red because of the red paint she left behind auspicious foot prints of her which were considered as the symbol of maa Lakshmi.

Radha :- "Are you ok?"

Dadi :- "Oh my god thank you so much. You saved me!."

Dadi smiled at her. By hearing their conversation mrs desai came rushing.

Mrs desai :- "What happened?!"

Dadi :- "I slipped and I was about to fall but this sweet girl helped me. "

Mrs desai :-" Thank you so much..?"

Radha :- "Radha."

Dadi :- "Wow such a sweet name. But why are you here radha?"

Radha :- "Actually i'm Mr Akshaj's PA he called me here."

Dadi :-" Oh Akshaj."

Mrs desai then noticed the red footprints. She looked at radha even she noticed her foot prints. Both knew what it meant.

Mrs desai :- "Radha your feets are red because of the paint. You can clean them in the upstairs bathroom. Go straight and turn to your right."

Radha :- "Ok thank you."

She walked upstairs again leaving behind the red auspicious foot prints.
Mrs desai had this weird feeling
Like it was destined.

Radha got really confused she forgot the way. She looked around but then saw a open room. She peeked inside no was around. So she walked in and went inside the bathroom. Even the bathroom was huge.

She turned on the tap and started cleaning her feets.

Akshaj saw the red foot prints on the floor and they were leading up to his room. He got suspicious so he quietly went to his room. He heard some noise in his bathroom. He grabbed the sheet from his bed and quietly sneaked inside. He quietly closed the door behind him so the intruder wouldn't escape.

He threw the blanket over the intruder and held them tight.

Akshaj :- "Who are you?! "

Radha :-" What the hell?! Let go of me!!!!"

Akshaj :- "Radha?"

He removed the blanket and to his surprise it was indeed radha. But what was she doing here he thought.

Akshaj :- "what are you doing here?!"

Radha :- "I'm here because you cal member!"

Akshaj :- "I know radha but what are you doing in my room?"

Radha then explained the whole situation to him.

Akshaj :- "Thank you for helping dadi."

Radha :- "don't mention it. but I'm not able to clean this Damn paint."

Akshaj chuckled at her cuteness. She looked really cute.

Akshaj :- "I'll help you."

Radha :- "No You are my husband you can't touch my feet."

Akshaj gave her a are you serious look.

Akshaj :- "What dumb logic is that Radha? wife can touch her husband's feet but a husband can't wow! I don't follow this dumb rules ok. "

Radha :- "But.."

Akshaj picked her up bridal style and
Made her sit on his bed. Radha couldn't stop blushing. He brought a small tub filled with water. He brought a soap and lemon from downstairs and started cleaning her feet gently.

Radha blushed at his touch. He removed all the paint. He smiled at her. His smile was so cute and innocent. She smiled back at him. He brought a towel and wiped her feet. She couldn't take her eyes off him.

Akshaj :- "Ok it's done."

Radha :- "can I ask you something?"

Akshaj :- "Yeah sure."

Radha :-" Why did you asked me to come?"

Akshaj :- "because I wanted you to be here."

Radha :- "But why?"

Akshaj :- "I don't know but I wanted you to be here...And please come daily."

Radha :- "Really?"

Akshaj :- "Yes I don't know the reason but I want you to be here for the aarti.
It's really important for us Desai's."

Radha :- "Us Desai's?"

Akshaj :- "Yes us Desai's."

They had a long eye contact. Radha and akshaj both were confused about lot of things. Even akshaj didn't know why but he just wanted her to be here.
