One Sided?

CHAPTER 12 - Lakshmi Narayan.

Desai's were going to the Lakshmi narayan temple for darshan. Even radha was with them. Radha was really curious about the temple. She heard from dadi that it was really huge and had 50 stairs.

Mr and mrs desai and amit were in one car ,Chachi chacha and priya , dadi in one. Akshaj and radha were in one. Actually dadi wanted radha to go with her but akshaj told dadi that he had to discuss something work related.

And dadi had to agree. currently they were in the car Radha smiled and shook her head. Akshaj smiled at her.

Radha :- "Seriously Mr desai."

Akshaj :- "Look i wanted to spend some time with you."

Radha :- "Really?"

Radha was surprised she blushed hard.

Akshaj :- "I'm sorry radha."

Radha :- "For what?"

Akshaj :- ~For everything that happened."

Radha :- "Akshaj it's ok it's not our fault it's situations fault."

Akshaj :- "I want to tell my parents about us."

Radha was surprised. she didn't excepted him to say that.

Akshaj :- "Yes radha, i ..I want to."

Radha :- "I'm really happy that you want to but my parents are not here i think we should wait till they come back."

Akshaj :- "Ok then."

Akshaj smiled at radha lovingly and she smiled back with the same love.
Akshaj held her hand and kissed it.

akshaj and radha were the first one to reach. Akshaj had something in his mind. He smiled at radha.

Akshaj :- "radha..You know there is a tradition in this temple that a husband should carry his wife to the top of the temple. "

Radha :- "What?"

Radha chuckled.

Radha :- "Who would.."

She didn't get to finish because akshaj picked her up and smirked at her.

Akshaj :-" I will. It's  good for couples radha..They get blessed by lakshmi narayan..And I want everything good for us..I want to make up for everything that had happened."

Akshaj smiled at her lovingly. Radha was in tears now. She never expected that one day they both will be together.
She smiled back at him.

Radha :- "I'm really happy akshaj but it will be ..."

Akshaj :-" Don't worry about me ."

He smiled at her and started walking up the stairs. Radha was worried about akshaj. He walked up 30 steps without resting even for a minute.

Radha :- "Akshaj please we can rest here."

Akshaj :- "Radha no..I want to do it."

Radha prayed to Lakshmi narayan for akshaj.

After 30 minutes they finally reached the top. Akshaj was breathless but he still carried her to the main temple.
The Brahman was surprised. He smiled at them. Akshaj let her down. Radha held his arm to help him stand.

Brahman :- "No one could complete this tradition... Everyone gives up at the 5th stair but you completed it. Your husband really loves you.. you are lucky."

He smiled at them.

Brahman :- "Lakshmi narayan will bless you. They will always keep you together."

Akshaj kept his hand on her shoulder and smiled at her lovingly. Radha had tears in her eyes she smiled back at him with more love.

The Brahman gave them sindoor.
Akshaj happily took it and applied it in her hair partion. Radha closed her eyes and smiled. She remembered the moment when akshaj applied it for the first time.

From that day to the present day they came a long way. That day they both were not happy and not in love but today they both are happy and in love.

They smiled at each other lovingly.

After the darshan, radha and akshaj were sitting at the stairs. Radha couldn't take her eyes off him.

Akshaj :- "I know your husband is handsome but you didn't have to stare at him like that...What are your intentions?"

He smiled at her mischievously. Radha blushed.

Radha :- "We are in the temple akshaj."

Akshaj :-" Hey I didn't do anything..You were the one staring at me."

Radha smiled at shook her head. Akshaj kept his hand on her shoulder and pulled her close.
