This chapter will detail the moment and emotions each of the characters faced once they realised they had feelings for you.Alfred (America) -
Ever since your first conversation about your belongings you two would talk at the beginnings of the meetings before the others showed up. It would usually be just some idle small talk but it helped you two get to know each other. These small conversations then developed into long hang out sessions that would take place in the park near the meeting room after the conferences would cease. You two began getting more comfortable round each other then.
One time during an outing at this park you opened up about how you thought Alfred's confidence to take charge of the World Meetings was incredible. You told him how you could never do that. Of course, Alfred being someone who does not fully understand social anxiety or nervousness, he denied that you should be nervous to speak up. He encouraged you to speak next time but you didn't accept to.
Alfred took the fact that you didn't outright say no as a maybe. So next World Meeting at the beginning he laid out the argument in place for that day. It was about lessening the trading of goods from (C/N), oh god you had to say something. You watched as Alfred eyed you, wordlessly encouraging you to speak. You took a breathe and raise your hand in the manner you all perform when wanting to share something.
"Permission to speak."
Alfred nodded as you rose from your seat and began talking. At first it was difficult. You were struggling to get your words out and everyone's eager eyes, which were aimed at you, was freaking you out a bit. As you continued, though, you gained more confidence until your speech flowed freely.
Alfred watched all this with a light blush tainting his cheeks. (Y/N) was acting completely different to her usual self. She was defending (C/N) with so much passion and determination in her voice. He felt a deep burning within his soul. He had always thought the country was very pretty but disregarded his initial feelings toward the girl. Now, however, he could barely keep his face from fully flushing red at the sight of her.
Later on that day Mathew approached Alfred, once the meeting had ceased, it was right before he and (Y/N) were going to walk to the park. Mathew questioned Alfred and why he had been acting so listless that day. Fully trusting his brother opened up to him. The American vented about how he had feelings for (Y/N) and hat he did not know what to do. Alfred is known for taking to people quickly so it is no wonder that he developed a romantic attraction to the country in only a short few months. Mathew was taken aback. Firstly, because someone was actually acknowledging his existence. Secondly, because he had never imagined that Alfred was ever going to fall in love with someone.
"Well, this sort of thing is difficult, ay. But if I were you, I would just tell her how I feel and hope it goes well."
"Bro, you're awesome. I'm gonna tell her then, dude. Today. When we go to th park."
"Wait, Alfred that's not what I-"
Too late. Alfred had already sped off to catch (Y/N) leaving the Canadian to frown and sigh.
"Lets hope it goes well..."
Arthur (Britain) -
Since your little tea date, if you'll call it that, that occurred the day after you met at Alfred's party you and Arthur would talk often. Usually you would text each other or call. It was rare you two ever got the chance to see each other in person seeing as Arthur is constantly swarmed with work.
On rare occasions, though, you two managed to get together and go somewhere. For example, one time you went over to his home. You were excited to see what Arthur's house looked like. Well, you were disappointed. It was a horrid mess. Clothes strewn all over the floor, the sink pilled with dirty dishes and the tables and furniture looked as though it hadn't ever been dusted.
