She had been gone only for a day, yet I grew uneasy day by day. Also, Anastazia seemed in a rush today, maybe I shouldn't have shared my uneasiness. So, I called her, but I couldn't reach her. It had been 6 hours and I couldn't wait any longer so I dropped a text to Izabelle. Her reply was instant. "Ana is reading. I'll tell her." And minutes later I heard my phone ring. She said, "Hey, miss me much. I was reading so did not answer. What is it which was so urgent?" Her voice was a relief. I said, "I miss you already. When are you coming back?" She was exasperated and said, "Really Octavian. Not that nonsense again. It was funny one time. Also, I won't be able to talk much tomorrow. Some people are coming over." I said, "I'll think of you every passing moment, my darling." She just laughed and hung up. Ouch! She could've said bye at least, but then she was a different mystery. I vividly remembered meeting her for the first time. Her eyes were cerulean blue and a streak of her hair was dyed in the same color. She had her hair tied up in a high pony and little wisps of her hair had come lose and blew on her face. She wore no makeup expect for a bit of kohl. She had been talking with my best friend who was also her cousin. And since that day, we had grown fonder and closer to each other. Sometimes she was so engrossed in her book that I couldn't speak with her for hours. But half of her attention was better than anyone else's whole attention and I loved her for all of her flaws. For a fan of romantic books, she sure could show some more emotions. Enough about her, I strode over to Sylvain's house. We had too much to catch up on. Thinking of the devil, conjures him up. Sylvain met up with me halfway and burst out laughing. Sylvain said, "Bro, we totally need to start working on our next project but since Anastazia and Madeline are away on a vacation, it's just us. But I'm asking them for updates everyday so we're all set to complete it in time." I said, "Let's start now and then later we can practice for our soccer team." And, so we headed to his house. It was an eventful day and I was so exhausted that I did not even check my phone and fell asleep right afterwards.
