Cale woke up after feeling an immense pain throughout his body, then he calmed his self after noticing the familiar room.

After he calmed down, he noticed that his body was warped in bandages and there are some blood stain in it too. Seeing that his is already fine, he then remembered the sight of mother coughing up blood, making him run towards her bedroom.

Ron who was about to go check Cale's condition was surprised seeing the panting Cale in the hallways.

"Ron where- hha where is mother? How is she?" the red head asked as he gasp for more air.

"Young master, you don't need to worry the Countess is fi-" before he could finish what he was saying the red head cut him off.

"Fine?! Mother was coughing up blood and you say she's fine?!" he shouted in frustration.

Kim Rok Soo is someone who doesn't care about the other people, he only cared about his family and friends. Seeing his mother in that kind of situation pissed him off.

Even though he transmigrated into this world as Cale Henituse, that doesn't mean he didn't growth affection towards them, especially his mother.

That's why he was acting like this.

"Young master, if you don't trust this butlers word then you can visit the Countess" Ron said as he clearly knew that the kid was worried.

"Mother!" Cale shouted as he saw his mother laying in the bed weakly, she look way thinner and her skin was way more paler than before too.

"Cale, come here" she said as she widened her arms to embraced the red head that was already in the verge of crying.

Deruth just watched how his son instantly hugged his mother. Cale is a unique kid ever since.

Because unlike the other kid around at his age who likes to play and you'll always see there emotions, Cale has always this cold demeanor and stoic face that does not match his age.

So seeing Cale showing his real emotion right now kinda made him happy but sad at the same time since Cale was crying.

"Cale calm down, mama is okay" Jour said as she wipes the tears of the red head.

"But mom you were- you were coughing blood an-"

"Shh, i told you mama is okay, im strong you know" she said, trying to calm down Cale who was still crying.

After a few minutes, his face then back to its calm gaze but contrary on the outside, Cale's mind was in chaos.

In the novel, it was said that Cale Henituse mother died when he was still a child and that is the reason why he become a trash. But its weird that the author put such a detailed story about Cale Henituse since he is just a minor villain though.

While he was in deep thoughts, he didn't notice that there is someone right outside the window, watching them.

Cale's neck suddenly felt cold.

Cale is someone who rely on his instinct so feeling something like this made him frown. 'Something is fishy, something feels odd'.

Something is definitely happening right now that made him feel that chilling feeling.

"It seems an interesting situation was about to happen" he said as he dryly laugh

The part one was about to come to an end and maybe (probably) the next part will be about the hunters and thames. Because of that i somewhat feel veryyy iffy towards Deruth and the King.

Imagine in the early chapter, they just look like any normal side character that supports the protagonist but now they're actually (maybe) the most SUS person right now (ofc the fake Hilsman is sus too).
