Secret and Worries(2)

CHAPTER 12

This is bad. This is really bad. If they continue the mission, it will only be a suicide seeing that the enemy outnumbered them.

So of course they planned to get out of this place. The problem is that just how hard it is for them to get in, it will be hard to get out too.

Every corner of the facility has either  dealy traps or over geared troops. Both dangerous. SM-93, CH-02 and SM-37 continued to slash everyone on their way while M-01 and T-10 protected them with shield. AS-92 and CH-09 was moving stealthy, trying to find a safe exist.

The battle moved on for very long time. Until they were able to find the exist only for M-01 to die when an Assassin throw a dagger with poison to her direction. SM-93 and CH-02 was killed when the troops of the enemy jumped onto them while they're trying to rest to regain their stamina.

Because of that it only leaves four of them. T-10, SM-37, AS-92 and CH-09, who was dragging CH-02 body ever since he died.

They were now outside the facility, the sun is now setting. All of them don't know if they'll be still able to see the light of tomorrow. Exhaustion started to seep into their bodies, hunger and sleepiness embraced them.

There are only two option for them now. Its to die in the hands of the enemy or die in the hands of their master.

Knowing that not only that they'd failed, 4 of their comrades died too. So there really is a chance they'll died in the hands of their master despite surviving the enemies attack.

But for now, they hid first under a big rock to protect themselves from both the sun and their perpetrator.

CH-09 kept on calling for help from the base but no one answered. It seems that there is no any signal here to transmit even a short call.

So he just left a short message(report) that he knows would greatly upset whoever's in the other end.

Just right after he send the message, multiple explosion was heard. Numerous bombs and fireball was sent towards where they're hiding.

The bombs and fireball hit the rock, making it crumble revealing the four men and one corpse.

'Shit!'

This is bad. They were still exhausted from the battle earlier and now they're getting ambushed.

They're in disadvantage.

He looked towards the enemy, that was coming closer to them, with rage. He was about to attack them when SM-37 screams caught his attention.

He looked back and to be shock. AS-92 daggers where on the chest of SM-37 while T-10 was beside him snickering at him.

"What? W-what are you doing!?"

"What do you mean? Were betraying you can't you see?"

AS-97 said that with a mockery in his tone was T-10 was still snickering to him. The enemy behind him who was attacking them earlier had stop when he looked toward his comrade- no that bastard isn't his comrade. That's a snake.

"You!"

He tried to attack both of them but AS-97 throw the body of SM-37 towards him and he sneak up behind him and stab his dagger in his neck.

Thankfully, he managed to dodge it and the one that got stab was his arm and not his neck. He can't die here. No he will not let himself got killed by this bastards.

He gritted is teeth and released his aura and shot it towards AS-97 but T-10 shielded him. This is getting annoying.

He knows that his in a disadvantage now that he doesn't have anyone in his side, so he think to himself.

'If i can't kill them all, then ill just kill one of them'

And his target was none other than AS-97. That snake bastard.

'If im going to die now, ill at least bring him down with me'

He attacked AS-97 once again with his aura but T-10 blocked it with his taunt cry. He then his aura upwards and used it shadows to hide himself from the taunt cry.

After he disappeared, he appeared once again behind AS-97 and slash his left arm and destroyed his tendons, to prevent him from running.

Now that AS-97 is limping, he used that chance to slit his throat and use his body to shield himself from the incoming fireballs.

The enemy started to conjure fireballs again and T-10 had use his taunt cry once again, with a frown etched in his face. One of the fireballs hit his chest.

He managed to kill AS-97 so now he need to run away. And for T-10, he'll come back for him.

He's vision was gradually fading.

He dragged AS-97 with him towards the corpse of SM-37 and CH-02. He took out a small ball that contains a one way portal and throw it behind him and let himself fall backwards.

The last thing he saw before closing his eyes were his enemy chasing after him.

Slap

"Ah!" he jolted awake when he felt someone slapped him. When he looked beside him, there is a man there, wearing an apron.

'He must be the one who slapped me'

"Hmm you're awake" said the brown haired man.

Sniff sniff

'This guy. He smell strong, well not as strong as me but he's still strong'

"W-where am i?"

Now that he thought about it, looking around the room, the rooms design is very dark? What the fuck where is the sunlight?

He looked towards the man again. The man was about to talk again when someone knocked on the door.

Knock knock

The man goes towards the door an opened it. There he saw a kid with red hair. The kid suddenly smiled brightly towards him. Ahh no wonder why there is no sunlight here, its because this kid is a sunshine.

He unconsciously smiled back towards the kid.

After the kid goes beside him, which the man tries to stop him but unsuccessful, he then noticed the cold aura that the butler is emitting.

'Assassin'

He thought. He focused his attention towards the kid again that was asking if he was felling better.  This kid is better than those two man that stood behind the kid.

this is CH-09 pov so there's only a little screen time for Cale.
