(This is happening in their 3rd year)
It was a normal day at UA high school. It's the same as always. Learning, training, lunch, sometimes villains would randomly attack the students. But, sometimes it gets boring there.
A week before the "big" attack, Shoto had asked Izuku to meet him by the cherry blossom tree during lunch. Izuku Midoriya. Her name wasn't actually Izuku. It used to be "Izumi" but she liked to be called "Izuku" better. Izuku was one of the new big three of class 3-a because of how strong her quirk was. She was chosen by All Might to be his successor with the power of One for All.
But as the story start, Izuku went to the cherry blossom tree where Shoto was waiting and eating his cold soba. She then joined him and ate her lunch also. Both were finishing eating and Shoto spoke first.
"Midoriya?" He faced Izuku with a bit of blush on his cheeks. He has never confessed to someone before so he thought that it might come out weird.
"What is it Todoroki-kun?" Putting her now empty bowl, she looked back at him also. Tou see, both children fell in love with each other but were so oblivious about that. But now, one of them would confess before the other. Hoping they return the same feelings.
"Ever since the sports festival, and being around you, I've come to realize that I don't want to be like friends."
"Y-you mean that you don't want to be my friend anymore?" Now Izuku was getting upset. She thinks that Shoto doesn't want to be friends with her anymore. She tries to hide how upset she is.
"W-well that's not what I meant! Please don't be too upset but... what I'm trying to say is that... um..." He was really nervous to say what he wants to say.
"What are you trying to say Todoroki-kun?"
"To put it short, I like you, Midoriya. No wait more like I love you. But more than a friend."
"Are you saying that you have a crush on me?"
"Y-yeah... But I understand if you don't like me back. I just wanted to confess to you and-"
Shoto was caught off guard when he felt a pair of lips on his. Realizing that it was Midoriya, he kissed her back. She wrapped her arms around Shoto and sat in his lap. Shoto holding her hips so that she wouldn't fall. They then break apart for air and Izuku smiled at Shoto.
"I like you too Todoroki-kun. I have been since I first saw you and got to know you more."
Shoto smiled brightly that she returned the same feelings. He was so happy to have her.
"Then, will you be my girlfriend, Izuku?"
"Of course, Shoto." And she leaned back towards Shotos face and kissed him passionately with love and care. Shoto returning the kiss held onto her. Never wanting to let go and have this moment end.
But the school bell had ruin the moment. Lunch was over and the "now" couple went back to class and into their seats. They planned on telling the squad first about them and then a few people at a time.
A few hours later, school has ended and everyone went to the dorms. The Dekusquad planned on doing their homeworks together and it was the best time for both Izuku and Shoto to tell the news. But little did they both know that the squad actually knew about those two love birds liking each other.
"H-hey um, guys?"
"What's up Midoriya, ribbit?"
"Well, me and Shoto has something to tell you."
