1. Sam and Colby x medium reader

You were a medium since you were little and now that you were 22 and lived in L.a. you had much better understanding and grasp of what it actually meant and included. It was no joke, seeing dead people every single day. But you learned or are still learning how to live with it. However, you never expected that your gift would lead you to where you are now, to the people you are about to meet right now.

When Sam and Colby reached out to you a week ago, asking if you would accompany them on one of their paranormal investigations you thought it's just a prank and that it's not real. Surely they had better options, they new Amanda already so why wouldn't they call her?

You accepted their offer even though they said it was for the conjuring house investigation. You knew that the house was super hunted and the evil entity was really, really evil and wouldn't like someone Ike you being in the house. You met up with them in a mall a few miles away from the actual house.

" Hey guys I'm y/n nice to meet you." You smile brightly at them as they tell you their names even though you already know them.

Soon they start the video with the three of you on a carousel, having fun while you can. Then they start recording again when you're almost at the house. The whole way you talked to each other. Mostly you telling them what you actually do and stuff around that. When you stand in front of the house they start recording again introducing you and saying their feelings about being here. You already feel nauseous without even stepping foot inside.

During the tour the owner Cory gives you, you see the first of many ghosts you'll see tonight.

"There's two children back there. One of them wants to play with us so bad and the other is shy, running upstairs."

You see Colby's awestruck expression and Sam's scared one giving them a small unsure smile. You usually weren't this nervous around other people. You were confident in what you could do whether or not people believed you. But this time it was different.

As you began to explore the house you reported a couple different ghosts and entities to them, describing them as best as you could. When you did the Estes method with the noise canceling headphones you got some mixed answers. Some were from trapped, what you believed were soldiers, and some from the demon in the basement. What was scaring you the most was that it came through when Colby had the headphones on. You could feel it's energy being bottled up, waiting for something or rather someone. That's why you pulled the guys out of the house to talk.

"Guys... when we go down there it's going to be bad. Especially for you Colby. The entity down there... it.. likes you and that's not a good thing."

" So? Should we leave? I mean we weren't even down there properly."

"I knew you were going to say that...look I can protect you as much as I'm capable to but I don't think it'll be enough. If you wanna go down, I'm going with you."

And so you did, Sam got the headphones on and you took both Sam's and Colby's hand, closing your eyes. Pushing as much energy and light to them as you could.

"Let go!" Yelled Sam as he heard that from the headphones.

" I'm not letting go! You're not going to hurt them."

I felt Colby squeeze my hand tighter. After a few seconds I feel my back burning. And whatever was down with us stopped talking to us then. We left, Colby was shaking and Sam checked my back and I had scratches all over it. Sam was the one driving away because Colby was shaking too much and ended up ended up on the backseat with you, holding you the whole ride back.
