[8.07 am]
She stepped off the bus, the busy streets around her inducing her fear of large crowds but she brushed it away. Moving along the street as she looked at the array of stores in front of her, Damhee went over how much money she had to spare, wanting to go shopping after a while.
Was she supposed to be at work right now? Yes.
Did she care though? No.
She was done for the week, not in the mood to deal with people, with customers who think they know everything. It was tiring and Damhee didn't have any energy. The constant yells of her manager, the criticism from the customers, randomly seeing her mother, was too much to take.
So here she was, strolling through the city, window shopping at all kinds of stores, looking at the cashiers who looked just as exhausted as she was.
After a few hours of walking into a store and immediately leaving after looking at the obnoxious prices, she felt like going for a stroll near the river. Maybe she could find a bench to rest at on the way.
Feet dragging behind her, her tote bag filled with random items desperately hanging onto her shoulder, she made her way along the river.
The splashes of the water sounding through the damp air around her, she found comfort in something other than her usual rooftop view. Maybe she should visit the city more often.
Placing herself on a bench nearby, she pulled out her phone, scrolling through her lack of messages, until one popped up on the screen.
Jeno:
Good morning. Are you attending class today?Morning.
Yes I am, Be there at 5.
A small smile fell on her features unknowingly, the awkward yet cute interaction yesterday playing across her mind.
Maybe he's not so bad
The sound of silence broke, the taps of small feet replacing it. Slightly flinching at the sudden appearance of the fluffy canine at her feet, she immediately awed at the adorable sight.
Hand patting at it's head, she couldn't help but pull out her phone again, clicking a few snaps of the heavy dog that played with her bag.
It's owner apologizing for the intrusion, dragged the dog away, struggling with the leash tugging.
Looking through the pictures she had taken, another notification popped up on her screen, Jeno again.
Jeno:
Okay! I'll see you then :)Do you like dogs?
Jeno:
What-
That was random.
BUT YES. I DOSAME.
WAIT look at the cutie I met in the city todayy.Jeno:
