FLO!KAI!DINNERS READY"a loud voice yelled out from downstairs, waking the two girls up from their slumber.Kai ignored it and tried to go back to sleep when Flo frantically started shaking her,"get up, theres food"she said through a long yawn,and that was more than enough reason for Kai to get fully out of bed and walk downstairs to the dinning room,excited to eat, Flo in persuite behind her.

Flo and her family lived with Kai and her family,seeing as they lived in a mini mansion,this meant the girls spent all their time together.Their families were extremely close too.

"Well hello their sleepy heads,i see the two of you aren't getting much sleep these days"Mrs O'Karios said, looking at the girls who wore matching pink onzies,their hair a mess in all different directions and dark circles underneath their eyes.

Its been 3 days after the incident at the coffee shop took place,and both of the girls weren't getting much sleep.Flo stayed up until late at night working on something,till 4 in the morning,and Kai kept waking up in the middle of the night from the same nightmare thats been reaccuring in her dreams,leaving her soaked in her sweat.

To add onto the weirdness she had bumped into the rude and cold 'mystery Greek god', and got into a silly arguement with him,ending with him just walking away after he said something cold.Flora even offered to beat his arse once,but Kai declined the offer saying it would be for a later time.

~Yesterday

"Watch where you're going....Ahhh Selcouth its you,have you started following me around,to make sure i don't swear infront of little kids"The man said after Kai accidentally bumped into him on her way out the book store to meet up with Flora at the food court.

She looked up at him with slightly squinted eyes, annoyance evident on her face,earning a smirk from him as he watched her reaction,"you wish,and stop calling me that,my names Kai,now if you excuse me i have better things to do with my time than to argue with an idiot like you."she spat back at him.

He frowned and put his hand to his heart as he walked along side her towards the food court,"that hurt me right hear you know"he said patting the spot where his heart is.Kai rolled her eyes to the mans attics.

Whatever happened to stranger danger?
Her inner voice asked, yet for some odd reason she didn't feel as if she were in danger.

"Go away"she said,and he gasped frightened.Kai quickly looked back at him.But what she saw was that he was perfectly fine with a mischievous smile on his face.She slapped him countless of times on his arm,and he seemed unfazed by the impact as he stood there laughing at her effort to bring him pain.

When she stopped hitting him to catch her breath,she looked at him infuriated,"what? you're easy to annoy."he said shrugging his shoulders and folding his arms across his chest. His black short sleeves revealed not only toned muscular arms but a tattoo sleeve on his entire left arm,with what looked to be the eyes of a wolf with various patterns and symbols around it.

"So you just go around annoying every stranger you meet?"she asked folding her arms over her chest.He scoffed."Please I have class. I don't interact with many strangers, something you seem to not have learnt"he mocks,his light blue eyes locked onto hers as if he was looking for something.

What he didn't know was that light brown eyes were not her real eye colour. In fact her eyes consisted of a pure white colour that flowed into the lightest of greys when it got to the outer lining, separating the iris from the other white part of her eyes.There were two small pools of violet and dark blue mixed just bellow her pupils on each eye.

Without the contact lenses on you would be able to see every beautiful speck of detail within her eyes that would engulf you in a trance that you'd never want to return from.

Her parents told her to wear contact lenses because they didn't want kids to make fun of her,even though they told her—her eyes were the purest things they've seen.

They also told her to keep them on because theres a secret they're keeping from her. For what the color of her eyes symbolize and also for her safety.

He snapped his fingers infront of her to get her attention from gawking at him,"i know im hot,you dont have to remind me"he says all cocky with a side smirk.

"Your ego is higher than your intelligence I see"she said and he rolled his eyes at her,and put his hand on her face playfully,only for it to get slapped away with a loud clap

'that kinda hurt but I'll pretend as if it didn't'

A voice said in her head. It sounded like the men infront of her but his lips never moved, it confused her but she shrugged it off giggling.

The site of her smiling made him smile too. When she smiled her eyes closed slightly and she had a dimple on her left cheek.

"I am so not getting enough sleep,i thought i heard something"she said almost forgetting he was with her.

"Why dont you sleep then"he said instead of asking as if he was stating a fact.Kai sighed and turned around to start walking knowing very well that he would follow behind her,"nightmares don't really go away that easily"is all she said and it seemed as if he was actually listening,what shook her the most was that they were having a normal conversation,until.....

"Maybe I'll come over one night,and sleep over,your nightmares might stop when im there"he said and she looked at him, her face completely in disbelief.

Kai looked around to see for the camera and someone ready to pop up from nowhere and yell 'you've just been pranked',but non of that happened so she done the only reasonable thing....

She laughed so loud and hard that people who walked by looked at her funny,"maaaan....you almost had me. "she joked with him wiping away a tear which escaped from her eye from laughing this hard.

His face was schooled with indifferent and a hint of confusion Kai noticed it and stared at him just as confused.But before she could say anything else her phone rang and Flora face popped up,"hello,im on my way"she said through the phone while still looking  straight into his eyes.

"Were you be-"she began to say but was cut off when he held out his hand for her to stop,"your guardians waiting for you, you should go" and with that he turned around and walked away.

But it was the way he said it.
So cold
And as for guardian?

She walked back to Flora mentally slapping herself,she could've dealt with that better.
