Fresh winced a little as he focused his eyes on his love. The one person he couldn't seem to stop thinking about, even after all this time had passed.

His love was older now, almost eighteen if he remembered correctly, but that wasn't what made him wince. What did was the fact they were bleeding from their skull, their clothes were disheveled and covered in dirt and bits of blood. He had also winced because their voice was rough and crackly on the ears, yet it was the last thing they said before passing out.

Narrowing his eyes, he looked to the group he had entangled in his tentacles. He was now pissed. Yet, their eyes showed no fear, they looked gleeful.

"Now that we've found you," A human male started.

"We want a deal with you," A human female finished. They looked the smuggest if the parasite had to choose out of all of them.

"Deal?" He mused aloud, smirking. "Now, what do you have that I would need or want? You really are in no position to make a deal~" He hissed, making his point by tightening his tentacles around them.

Quickly, the others in the group lost their smugness. It was now clear to them that they had made a mistake as using PJ as bait. They had used their only bargaining chip and now the only thing they possibly could do was beg. Beg to be free and able to live! Yet, the two humans hadn't lost any bit of that attitude.

"Really? Because we just gave you that thing and we can give you more~" This got a raised eyebrow. "You only kept him alive to fatten him up, right? Well, we can help you get into town to feed on fat skeletons~ It wouldn't be that hard!" The woman giggled insanely. "All you have to do is pamper us girls the way you did that brat."

Fresh shook his head, chuckling under his breath. Is that what they really think? That he was fattening Paperjam up? To eat him!?

"Oh, you foolish people~ If I wanted to eat him, he would've already been dead~" He laughed a little as fear and confusion began to appear on their faces. "However, you lot~ Are going to keep me full for a good while~" Before any of them could scream or say another word, he had wrapped his tentacles around their throats, cutting off their air supply.

Some of them tried to struggle, others attempted to scream, but the humans looked at him with wide eyes. He just looked back, purposely squeezing their throats harder. No, he wasn't going to kill any of them just yet. He was going to savor killing them~ He already had too much of his own food and he doesn't want to taint his Jammy's fridge like that~

Once all of them were knocked out, he went to down to the cellar and chained them all up. He wasn't gentle with any of them. He made sure that when they wake up, they would feel pain and soreness throughout. He had to keep himself in line though as all he wanted to do was to tear them to shreds! To make them bleed and scream for hurting his Paperjam, but they did bring him back. So, they did at least deserve a few more days of living.

He soon came back to his Jammy, who was still unconscious. This did worry the parasite, but he pushed away and just brought them home. There, he took care of him, making sure his head was alright, which it thankfully was. There wasn't anything too wrong with it, Paperjam would just have to take it easy for a while, two or so weeks at most. His other wounds were mostly just small scrapes and cuts, nothing deadly.

Gently, he stroked the smaller's cheek, smiling some. They had grown more beautiful; their height had increased too and it seemed that their voice was coming back. Which was good. Pressing a sweet kiss to their cheek, the parasite pulled away. He'll let them sleep, but when they wake up, he'll let them know they're not escaping him again.
