Chapter 7: Christmas Madness

Getting violently awoken by his cousin shaking his body, Raiden slowly rose up to see her un-contained excitement, "Raiden Raiden Raiden Raiden wake up now, it's Christmas"! Groaning while getting up finally, Raiden made his way towards his drawer to pull out of his favorite hoodie and put his arm castor on hanging off his shoulder holding his left broken arm , he took a long and relaxing breath clearing his head of any of his worry, walking out his room and downstairs he sees Both kyrie and Fuuka by the Christmas tree happy and smiling brightly to him.

"Alright alright" shuffling past Kyrie, Raiden gives both girls all of their gifts but saved a special one for Fuuka for later. Walking back to sit on the couch he takes in the sight of his older cousin obliterating the wrapping and getting all giddy about getting the newest set of figure models she's been wanting, Fuuka unwrapped hers with delicate care and got a brand new laptop since Raiden accidentally destroyed hers from a misfire he did with his revolver. Fuuka looked towards him and gave him a warm smile making him blush beat red. After awhile both girls were finished unwrapping their gifts but was confused on how Raiden got nothing "umm cousin, you didn't get anything from Santa this year?"

knowing the fact he didn't get anything for himself, Raiden simply gave her a run off answer, "Nah, I couldn't care besides there's not much the old man can give that would satisfy my happiness"

"Not even a new pair of gloves at least, those other ones are worn out and smell like ravaged hyenas" Kyrie threw some shade at his worn out outfit from the many fight's he's gotten in through life.

"Hey now, I've had them ever since I started my small business before meeting Fuuka and the others, so they are sentimental to me" Raiden rebutted, but he smiled once again knowing he had everything he wanted...except his father, while he isn't one to mope for dead family members, Raiden wanted to see his father just one more time to show him how much he's grown, to even show his demonic powers. But in the end Raiden just hope that even in the afterlife, his father can be proud of him and Tatsuya.

getting up to pick the trash and throw it away, Raiden made sure the area was clean while his gremlin of a cousin was too busy putting together one of the model kits she opened up. After cleaning the mess Raiden sat back down on the couch while Smiling at his girlfriend, Raiden, looking up to the ceiling he ponders to his future plans for his and his girlfriends life until his thought ended up on Yu Narukami.

"Narukami-san huh, an interesting guy and a wild card user along with his group of friends. I've got a damn good feeling that his journey is about to take a wild 180". Getting up again since his boredom was taking over "Ngrh welp" Getting up, Raiden was about to make him some coffee when he heard knocking from the front door, walking to it and opening the door to reveal Yu Narukami and Nanako in bundled up in coats and scarfs "merry Christmas big bro Raiden" Nanako joyfully recited.

"Merry Christmas Nanako, what brings y'all here" questioning their reason. he never thought to see those two ever stop by this place ever since Nanako stayed a couple of nights for girls night.

"Well, I was grabbing some things from Junes when Nanako wanted to stop by your place after we left the store" Yu answered sheepishly.

"well seeing as it's Christmas and I have yet to fully meet your friends.." Raiden thought to himself for a moment before coming up with something that his brain could never rack "Lets hold a small Christmas party" Raiden told Yu. seeing as the silver haired teen gave him a weird look for a moment before agreeing. looking behind he called out to his cousin "hey Kyrie, we're gonna throw a Christmas party, wanna whip up some good food"?

"Finally"! kyrie shrieked knowing she would actually be able to cook a good feast rather than eating staple ramen since Fuuka and Raiden would always return extra late at night from either Raiden's client job or just any adventure's "YES LETS DO IT" hurrying into the kitchen Kyrie gets started on a Christmas dinner using the Ingredients Yu handed her.
