I gasped as I opened my eyes, pools of water were floating around my room, I pulled it over to me and lead them outside my window.
"That was... strange." I stretched my legs and arms and got ready for another day of school.
Someone knocked on my door, "Tiru, are you there?"
"Come in." I sat on my bed.
My mom came in dressed up but tired, "I need you to pack clothes for at least 2 weeks."
I looked at her with confusion, "Why? Are we going somewhere?"
"Yeah, for your birthday," She spoke as she yawned, "well, you're leaving... alone."
"Me? Alone for two weeks? For my birthday?"
"Yeah, alone. Two weeks, for your birthday."
I looked at her in disbelief but she walked away without another word. I looked around as if there were people with me who just witnessed what happened, "Unbelievable."
She came back, "Oh yeah, I invited Tamaki over."
She left as soon as she said that. I opened my mouth as I saw a car pull up in front of our driveway, "Mom!"
"What? It's just Tamaki."
I pushed her back out of my room and changed into casual clothing, "Ugh... I'm missing school and I have to deal with Tamaki right now."
"Deal with him?" Her head popped back in.
I grew flustered and looked away, "I didn't say that."
"Whatever, just get your ass ready. You're driving yourself."
"I... guess... that's cool?" My mom tossed me the keys and I started packing clothes.
I grabbed a few outfits, sweaters, everything else I would need, and I took my mom's parasol. I freshened up for the day and rested on the fence on the edge of the second floor, forgetting that Tamaki was coming in. I saw him walk up and look directly up at me then looked away instantly. I guess his mom forced him to come... otherwise, he wouldn't be here. I went back to my room and carried all my things downstairs.
My dad gave me a bag filled with stones, I looked at him questioningly, but I received no response. Tamaki turned his back at me and never faced me. I decided that this was not healthy for us so I, not willingly, walked over to him and tapped his shoulder.
Tamaki only turned his head, "T-Tsuki?"
"Tamaki," I responded quickly, "um... so, about la-"
He turned around, "I-I'm s-sorry, I shouldn't h-have left y-you alone on your birthday."
I smiled and hugged him, "It's okay... you just... weren't ready."
"You k-know?"
"Know what?"
He looked away and blushed, "Nothing."
I let go of him, "I'm gonna be away for the next two weeks, it's something my mom is making me do alone for my birthday... I don't know what it is though, ehe."
"Why is she making you do i-it alone?"
My leg started bouncing, "I don't know, it's weird, isn't it?"
Tamaki nodded and we stood silently for a few moments. He opened his mouth like he was going to say something but changed his mind, I didn't ask what he wanted to say since he probably wouldn't be comfortable with sharing it.
