I woke up looking at the ceiling, the TV was still on and I looked around. I was laying on Tamaki and turned my body onto his. I didn't want to get up so I laid on his chest and listened to his heartbeat, I don't want to go back to the Astral escape. I suddenly feel like spending more time with Tamaki, we haven't really done anything romantic together... maybe we can have a little date in the town. I blushed at the thought.
"Tama... I love you." I spoke in a soft voice.
Tamaki's hand moved and I was startled, I thought he heard me. I felt tired again so I closed my eyes and fell back asleep. I dreamed of the Astral escape and how similar it was to the dark abyss in the story about Amos, I was in the same darkness and the beast was just as large. We didn't communicate though, it just moved around me waiting for me to do something. I didn't know what to do, I just waited for it to do something. I wasn't sure what it wanted.
...
...
...
I woke up to someone shaking me. Tamaki had fixed my position so he could sit up without waking me, but I guess he knew that we had to start sooner or later.
"A-Are you too tired?" He asked.
I yawned and rubbed my eyes, "Sort of... I think I'll be fine though."
We sat in the same position the other day and entered the Astral escape, the door had been left open. We walked in front of it and I created another rope. Tamaki ate a few things before we entered so he would be prepared, I created the Amos Bow and looked at the horn, it glew brightly in a place so dark.
"I'm not sure if that thing is still there, but I still have to light the way."
Tamaki looked forward as if he knew something was there.
I drew the string back and before I released the arrow, I stopped, "Tama, is... something... there?"
I released the arrow and it had shattered the moment it went through the door. Dust illuminated the teeth of the beast. That's when we realized it had waited for us, if we had just walked through we would've entered the mouth of the beast instead of the gateway.
"Why is that thing still here?"
Tamaki stepped back.
I sighed and jumped up, "If that thing won't move, we'll have to move it ourselves."
I drew the bow back again and released another arrow, this time I launched myself forward with it, my foot facing the beast. I was afraid of what could happen, but now I know, it can happen but it doesn't have to. I kicked the beast back and the arrow struck its neck releasing more as it pierced through. Tamaki jumped in and his legs had become tentacles. This blue abyss had felt like being underwater. I quickly moved to the side and shot another arrow to light the way, I wonder if this is what my grandmother intended for me to go through. Either way, we were going to make it. The ground had started to glow and a door lit up at the other side, that's where we needed to go.
"Tama!"
He nodded in response and slapped the beast down with a tentacle and grabbed me. I forged spears in around us and sent them off toward the beast, they went for the neck where the arrow had shot through, and we came closer to the door. I created a wall in front of us, I sensed something was there.
"Careful, something's there." I looked back at the beast and Tamaki faced forward.
There's never been an Astral escape with more than one beast, my grandmother said it was never likely, but not unlikely. As the beast drew closer, its face began to be visible. I felt my heart sink, it looked terrible. It looked so human but so disgusting. I grabbed onto Tamaki's arm and started breathing indifferently, he turned hugged me.
