"So!" Sunshine shouted from the edge of the spring, "Not your boyfriend, huh?"

I opened my mouth and blushed, Tamaki looked away and covered his body.

La'Nya came out of the fog and turned around quickly, "Ah, sorry."

"Ahahahaha, sorry Tama... I forgot they were here with us."

His cheeks were burning and his ears turned pink. I got off him and the clouds withered away, the sphere disappeared like it was being poured out of a glass bowl. I pulled Tamaki up and we got out of the spring. Sunshine teased me some more but I slapped her arm and gave her a look to alert her that Tamaki was uncomfortable.

We laid out a blanket and quickly ate so we didn't waste any more time. I grabbed our things and we started rushing back to the house since Sunshine made a joke about a ghost in the woods. We said goodnight and headed into the shed, I helped Tamaki push the beds together and we watched anime on a TV in the closet of the shed.

"Tama..."

"Y-Yeah?"

I held his hand, "Are we like... supposed to be a thing now?"

He blushed, "A t-thing? Oh, I... uh... do you w-want t-to be?"

I blushed, "Well, do you want to be? A thing with me?"

He smiled, "Y-Yes."

"I guess it's official then..."

I thought about giving Tamaki the letter to read, maybe he had an idea of what happened. But I quickly changed my mind, I didn't want him to think I didn't trust him with these things. I guess I'm dating Tamaki now... it feels weird... not bad weird but it's just that I- we have always been friends. What am I supposed to say to Neire and Mirio? Our parents? I guess we'll have to worry about that later, we have a bigger task at hand. I summoned my Yukata and took the letter out when Tamaki went to sleep, it was written the day after my birthday.

As the days pass the future becomes clear. A new piece of information has come to me, remember that special someone I mentioned? Go to the stone platform in the center of the bottom spring pool, step forward 4 times, left 6 times, right 10 times, and back 100 steps. It may seem like a lot but trust me, it is worth it. There is a trick I must teach you, return to your shelter soon after you find the next letter.

100 steps back? That's a bit much, but if she says it's not much... I guess it's not that much. I looked over at Tamaki and blushed, I never realized how I felt... now I feel like I need to be there for him even more and just comfort him whenever he needs it. It's like a New Years Resolution that you actually fulfill, or at least will fulfill. I turned the TV off and laid down facing Tamaki, his breaths were silent and his face was relaxed. I combed Tamaki's hair and wrapped my index finger around his, his face turned red. I smiled and quickly fell asleep.
