All of them knew that the goddess did not actually leave them alone but still they felt that since she knew everything, there's no harm in her knowing their content of discussion too.
Well, this discussion wouldn't happen if not for her but anyways.
They grouped around Cale and looked at each other.
"Cough...this is getting awkward.." Alberu fake-coughed and muttered.
"I'll start." Cale couldn't take the complicated tension and started.
"Well, you already know, but I'm Kim Rok Soo, now, Cale Henituse." He said and turned away.
Everyone was left speechless.
What the fuck... We know that already..
"What do you want us to call you then?" On asked. She wanted to see Cale's reaction, whether he actually had an attachment to his past life or was it really as it was mentioned in the previous chapters.
"Cale. Just call me Cale. That's who I am now." He replied. His eyes never changed. He truly did not seem to have second thoughts about this life.
But only I know how much I regret my life as Kim Rok Soo.
This sudden thought popped up in his confused mind, his vision threatening to fill with those damn records again. He didn't even flinch as the curious gazes headed towards him would notice. He quietly suppressed those records for the nth time since he came here and looked towards the others.
"Alright, Cale. nyaa" On looked at their human, satisfied.
"Can we now talk about.....this strange situation we are in?" Cale tried to change the topic, getting uncomfortable from all those different types of gazes he was recieving.
They noticed it but did not object.
"First, how much time has passed since we were bought here?"
"It's been a week if I'm correct. Actually less than a day here but, she said the time flows differently from our world so it should have been a week in our world if the time actually flowed there.." Witira replied.
"Mmm..." Cale frowned.
"Why did she even bring us here?" His asked his question aloud. Even if he knew the answer already, it was quite vexing. Apparently getting kidnapped only to be treated with such....kindness if could call it that was not very convincing after all.
"To see the future." Bud deadpanned but Cale ignored him and mumbled,
"She even went as far as bringing 'extra baggage' so we didn't suffer from the consequences or whatever it is."
Alberu suddenly felt something click in his mind as he blurted out,
"She even made your life into a novel."
-...I didn't. Someone else did. And I fucking love her for making it.
(Aoi: I really do love her for making it. Love You, Yoo Ryeo Han-nim!!!)
A voice sounded in their minds confirming their speculation about the goddess eavesdropping.
"Someone else did?" Cale felt chills down his spine for some reason.
- yeah, just like Nelan barr- oops! That's spoilers!
Cale's eyes shook at that familiar name. It was the author of the 'Birth of a hero'!!
"Spit it out, what the fuck were you talking about?" He said, irritation clearly visible on his face.
-You'll see that scene too, in the near future, and stop frowning like an old man all the time.
