Asteria looked around the first guests of her first creation.
She smiled with a hint of fondness in her eyes.
It had been so long since she had been drunk on such excitement.
"Weak Human! Strong Choi Han! How is it? Did you two like it? Star goddess said you'll like it but both of you didn't say anything at all!"
The little cutie dragon along with the kids stood infront of the two Koreans as they looked at them.
The hall had now gone back to how it previously was.
The screen in center, surrounded by rows of colourful and comfortable couches.
What hadn't changed back, was their outfits and sashes.
Asteria chuckled at the two who looked speechless at the question asked to them.
"We liked it very much, Raon-nim, On, Hong, Jur. Thank you for making the cake."
Choi Han smiled softly as he addressed the children averaging 8 year old.
"Yay! You're welcome, cutie!"
They sharply turned to Cale who was still looking away, throwing dead stares into the walls that looked oh so interesting suddenly.
"Cale, someone's asking you something~"
Asteria decided to help the poor children get a compliment from their father-figure.
Cale almost almost flinched.
He calmly turned to them and immediately decided it was a bad idea, seeing their expectant gazes.
He wasn't used to this kind of things from his family, okay?
But, he couldn't disappoint the children either.
(Asteria: I didn't see 'the children' at all. All i can see is 'his children' I ain't backing down.)
His hand found its way to their heads as he patted them gently while saying,
"It was the best. You all are very talented."
He nodded to himself. They were indeed impressive. He didn't even notice the proudness that leaked in the sentence he spoke.
The children all cheered as they got what they wanted and went back to their seats.
Asteria looked around and saw that everyone had settled down.
Hm...
"I haven't seen you have a proper meal since you guys came here. Aren't y'all hungry?"
Now that she mentioned it...
"I'm hungry!" The glutton raised her hand first, only to get chided by the thief.
"Weren't you eating all sorts of korean dishes just now?"
"Do you think that's enough compensation for starving for literal centuries?" The glutton shot back, rubbing the back of her head that was smacked by the sky eating water.
Chuckling at their interaction, the others agreed that they indeed didn't get a chance to have a full meal together.
Asteria smiled.
However, all eyes turned to Cale this time.
Cale deadpanned. Yeah, that smile, his smile.
She was going to make him do something again.
"No." Cale denied immediately.
But the next second, his frown deepened.
That smile still didn't fade away from her face.
