5. Why Me?

-Lizzie's P.O.V-

I walked back over to Alex's house where the boys were playing basketball. Andrew and his friend Cole were playing too. I made Niall come with me cause I wanted to spend time with him. We got over to the side lines of the "court" and all eyes were on Niall and I.

"Niall?" Alex and Austin said in unison.

"Hey guys." Niall said walking over to Austin to give him a man hug. He walked over to Alex and man hugged him.

"Alex, how do you know Niall Horan from One Direction?" Andrew asked.

"Well when Lizzie moved to Ireland about what 2 years ago?" He asked looking at me. I nodded my head. "She was neighbors with him, before he was the famous Niall Horan."

"Oh ok, Do you wanna shoot some hoops with us?" Cole asked.

Niall nodded his head and grabed the ball from Alex. He made the best jump shot I have ever seen, and I use to watch Austin and Alex play all the time.

We all started hearing sirens and jerked our heads towards the sound. There were 2 cop cars parked out side my house and a ambulance just pulled in. Niall and I took off running towards my house with Alex, Austin, Robert, Drew, and Cole right behind.

I threw open the door and seen a cop run upstairs toward Faith's room. I ran up stairs and followed the officer into my baby girls room. Louis was in tears standing in the corner.

"What happened to my baby?!" I asked.

"We were playing and I thought she had fallen asleep, but when I didn't hear her breathing, I called 911." He said hugging me. I just cried until we were kicked out of her room because they needed more room to try and get her on the gurney. I walked out to the living room to where all 6 boys sat on the couch. Alex had his head in his hands, and Austin, Robert, and Andrew were rubbing his back. I walked over to Alex and tapped his shoulder. He looked up and immediately grabbed me and pulled me into his lap. We both just sat there and cried until we were told that we needed to go to the hospital.

Once we got to the hospital, Alex and I wouldn't let go of each other. Louis had told me on the way to the hospital that the rest of the boys and Eleanor would be here in 15 1/2 hours and He would go pick them up at the airport.

The doctor walked out with a sad look on his face and said, "Who is Faith Constancio's mom?"

I raised my hand and walked over to him with Alex's hands wrapped around my waist.

"Who is he?" The doctor asked.

"Her father." I said.

"Ok come with me." He said. We walked into an office and sat down in front of the big desk.

"So I guess you are wondering how your daughter is doing?" Doc said and Alex and I nodded. He continued, "Well I am sorry to inform you but the paramedics were not able to keep Faith alive during the ride here. But once she got here we found that she had a hole in her lung which caused her to pass. I am so sorry,"

I burst into tears and Alex pulled me into his lap. I felt his tears fall onto my arm which was wrapped around his neck.

Once we both got done with our melt down, we got up and thanked the doctor, and walked out. When I seen Louis pacing the floor, I let go of Alex's hand and ran into Louis arms.

"Is... is s...he... She... O...ok?" Louis asked sniffing.

"She's gone Lou." I said before bursting into tears. Louis just rubbed my back and whispered comforting words in my ear. I just feel like the worst parent in the entire world right now. Word can't even describe how I feel right now. I love my baby girl and I can't believe she is gone. There is one song that can describe my feelings right now, "Over You" by Miranda Lambert. I let go of Louis and walked back over to Alex. I looked him in the eye and saw one of the same emotions that were in his eyes the day I left, and it was sadness. We both just stood there looking into each others eyes.

"Oh will you 2 just kiss and make up!" Robert said. Then Austin grabbed our heads and smashed them together making us kiss. I felt like I was falling in love with him all over again. We both melted during the kiss. I felt a spark that had always been there. We both pulled away at the same time. The look in Alex's eyes assured me that he felt it too.

"Oh my god." I said. I am starting to think Alex and I are ment to be.

"Elizabeth Austin, will you be my girlfriend, again?" Alex asked me.

"Well let me think about it..." I said looking at Alex. I could tell he was really wanting to know cause he was biting his lip a little. " Yes Alex Constancio I will be your girlfriend, again." Alex's face lit up and he wrapped his arms around me.

"At least one thing came out good today." Alex said.

"Okay I just have a few thing to say." Louis said, "Alex, if you ever hurt my little sister again, The rest of One Direction and I, including our drummer Josh, will hurt you. Got it?" Alex nodded his head nervously.

"Ok good welcome to the 1D family!" Louis said.
