Epiloge

-One Year Later-

Walking down the beach with Austin's hand interwind with mine. My free hand was placed on my swollen belly.

Austin and I are expecting our first child together. I'm a little over 9 months pregnant, about a week overdue. The doctor has been having us come in for an appointment every other day. I've been told to relax, walk on the beach with Austin at least once a day around sunset when the sun won't be as hot, and to eat non spicy foods.

"Sweetheart, why don't we go back to the house and watch a movie?" Austin said stopping.

"Okay, that sounds good. My back is starting to hurt, along with my feet." We walked back to the house and cuddle on the couch. Scrolling threw Netflix, Austin finally fixed on the movie 'The Lucky One'. One of my favorite movies.

By the end of the movie, Austin was asleep on the other couch and I was laying down. I was reaching for the remote when I felt a pop and then water and blood came out.

"Shit. Austin!" I yelled. Austin jumped up from his spot. "My water broke!" I attempted to get up in a hurry but struggled. After 3 trys Austin came to help me up. We got everything we need, dropped Dylan off with Louis, then made our way to the hospital.

After getting checked in and getting the machines set up, we were getting closer to seeing our baby.

"Hey Eliza, how ya feeling?" Louis said as he walked in the room with a 3 year old Dylan trailing behind him.

"Hey, I could be better. The contractions started up shortly after my water broke. The nurse is surprised on how quickly this is going. I've only been in labor for an hour." I said. I was about 7 cm dilated and ready to see my baby. I'm going for an all natural birth, because thats what I did with Dylan, but not Faith. Faith was a 22 hour labor, lets just say I was almost to weak to push. Dylan was a 4 hour labor, and with 2 pushes he was out, screaming like a banshee. This baby, I have a feeling I'm going to be having a baby here in about an hour.

"Wow, this one is really going fast. You have everything for you and the baby ready right?" Louis said.

"Yeah, it was a race against time for Austin to go get the hospital bags. But he got them and we made it." I said. There was a knock at the door and the nurse and doctor walked in.

"Hello Elizabeth, I'm going to check you to see how far dilated you are." Louis took Dylan outside and Austin stood up to come stand by me. "Well Elizabeth, you are 9 cm dilated. We are going to round up everything for delivery and hopefully by then you will be a full 10!"

1/2 hour later I was in full blown labor, the baby's head was crowning and 1 more push and Austin and I will be parents.

"Come on Eliza you can do it. Your baby is right here." I pushed once more and fell back against the pillow.

"Congratulations Austin and Eliza! You both are now parents of a healthy baby boy!" The doctor said.
