11. Safety

~~~~ Eliza's P.O.V ~~~~

Everything I own or that are for the babies, is now sitting in my 4 bedroom 4 bath house in Doncaster. I live across the street from Louis's mum and she has been REALLY helpful and she absolutely loves Delilah and Dylan.

I am now a model and making big bucks. I have both babies rooms set up and the are ADORABLE! Delilah's is purple and Dylan's is blue. Delilah is now 11 months old and Dylan is almost 4 months old. Delilah is a talkative little girl! She talks in comprehendible sentences and she can walk pretty good. Dylan has gotten big and makes cute little baby noises.

Right now I am walking around the mall with Delilah on my hip and Dylan in the double stroller. I walked into a baby store and walked over to the little girls section. I laid Delilah in her side of the stroller and buckled her in. I started looking through dresses for Delilah when I felt a familiar presents behind me. I turned around and saw a very unwanted face standing near my baby.

"What do you want?"

"To see you and my baby, is that a crime."

"Yes it is. Especially when you cheated on me."

"How many times do I have to say I'm sorry?"

"You can say your sorry a million times but it still won't cover up what you did."

"Elizabeth, I am truly sorry for what I did. I just hope one day you could forgive me and we can be a family again." Niall said that looking straight in my eye and he had a look of pure sorrow and guilt written all over his face. Those eyes could just make me melt... No Eliza... You can't... But they are so... No he cheated in you and broke your heart.

"Niall, I can't be yours."

"Why not?"

"Because I am with someone else now."

"Who?"

"Austin" After saying that I walked away quickly. Niall was following behind me, so I ran into Victoria Secret and went in the back. Niall didn't follow me inside.

I left about 20 minutes later and walk to the food court. I stood in line at McDonalds and waited for about 5 minutes. I order a quarter pounder with a large frie and drink. Don't jugde me! I am shareing the fries with Delilah and Dylan. I got everything then went to a table in the back and sat down.

"Is it ok if I sit here?" A very familiar American accent says.

"ROBERT!" I squeal as I jump up and hug him tightly.

"How you been Eliza?"

"Pretty good until about an half hour ago."

"What happened?"

"Niall came up behind me while I was looking at clothes for Delilah, he apologize, and tried to win me back. I told him that I forgive him but I won't take him back because I have moved on. I told him I was with Austin and walked away. He followed me until I went into Victoria Secret, he stood outside for about 5 minutes then left. Then I came here and you just made my day 10x better! I missed you so much Robert!"

"Niall needs to leave you and the kids alone! And I missed you too!"

"Hey Robert! I finally found you!" Another familiar American accent says.

"ALEX!" I screamed.

"ELIZA!" I jumped up and ran into Alex's arms. He spun me around and set me down. We pulled away an walked back to my table. Alex sat down next to Robert and we caught up. We ended up going back to mine and Austin's house.

I walked into the house and it was silent, like scary silent. It was also very dark too, and it was about 3:00 at night so there should be light in the house but there's not. I turned on the light to find Austin lying on the floor. I ran to him and turned his body over. I checked for a pulse and there was barely one.

"ALEX CALL 911! AUSTIN'S HURT!"

There was a gash on his side and it was kind of deep but not deathly deep.

"Austin wake up please! Austin Carter Mahone you need to stay with me! Please don't leave us! Your Mahomies need you! Your mom needs you! Alex and the Crew needs you! Delilah and Dylan need you! I need you! I love you Austin, we all do! Please don't leave us!" I started rubbing circles into his right hand.

"Eliza" Austin mumbled as he woke up.

"Babe, what happened?"

"A guy in a ski mask stabbed me."

"Everything is going to be ok just stay with me. Alex called 911 and the paramedics are on there way. Just please don't leave me."

"I won't babe. I will try to stay awake."

I heard sirens and footsteps before Alex picked me up and pulled me away from Austin. Alex carried me to the car and set me down.

"He will be fine. Trust me." Alex said hugging me. They carried Austin out on a stretcher and that just made me cry harder. Austin looked at me with tears running down his face. I turned away and buried my face in Alex's shoulder.

A black Range Rover pulled up and Louis, Robert, Liam, Andrew, and Cole jumped out and ran to me and Alex. I pulled away from Alex and wrapped my arms around Louis and cried. A paramedic walked up to me and Louis and said that we need to follow behind the ambulance. We all pilled into Louis's car and followed the ambulance.

When Louis pulled up to the hospital I instantly jumped out and ran inside. They took Austin back and a nurse held me back from running to him.

"Honey, you can't follow him back there. He is going into emergency surgery to get stitches in his large cut. Then he will be put in a small medical induced coma for 2 days. Is there any family of his that you can call?"

"His mom and grandma."

"Ok go call them."

I pulled my iPhone out and called Michelle.

"Hi Eliza!"

"Hey Mama. I am at the hospital right now. It's Austin."

"Is he okay?" I could hear a couple sniffs.

"He is going into emergency surgery, he has a large and deep cut on his right side. He said he was stabbed. The nurse told me that after surgery he will be in a medical induced coma for 2 days or longer." I broke down after I got done talking. I could hear Mama cry on the other end.

"How was he stabbed and where were you when it happened? Did you get hurt?"

"I was at the mall shopping for new clothes for the babies. I didn't get hurt. He said a guy in a black ski mask broke in and stabbed him."

"I'm booking a flight for 10:00 at night here and I will be there at 6:00 tomorrow night."

"Ok bye Mama."

"Bye Eliza. Keep me updated."

"Ok will do. Love you Mama."

"Love you too Eliza."

I hung up and broke down worse than the first time. I fell to the ground and bawled. I felt arms wrap around me and pull me into there lap. I looked up to find I was in Roberts arms. I buried my face into his neck and bawled. Shortly after I fell asleep.

"Austin! You can't leave me! I love you! Your mom, Mahomies, friends, family, Dylan, Delilah, and I need you! Please don't let go! Keep fighting!"

"Goodbye Eliza. I love you."

Austin faded away into nothing but light.

--------- Reality --------

I woke up in a chair. I looked around and I was in a room. I seen Austin laying on a bed with wires hooked up to him. His color was gone and he just looked lifeless. I got up and pulled a chair up to the edge of his bed. I sat down and grabbed Austin's hand , intertwining our finger. He just looked so helpless. I rubbed circles into the back of his hand.

Alex, Robert, Louis, Andrew, Cole, and Liam walked into the room. They looked at Austin and there faces lost emotion. Louis pulled a chair next to me and side hugged me.
