Prologue
My name is Elizabeth, but my friends call me Lizzie. I'm 16 and I'm being forced to move to Ireland by my mother and her "loving" husband. Loving.. ha that's a funny way to put it. He is anything but loving. Anyway, my life is a mess, and no that's not just the dramatic teenage hormones talking. When I was in 5th grade my mother married this horrible man and forced me to move to San Antonio, Texas. About 6 hours away from everything I knew and loved. My first day of my new school was less then exciting. Except I met this boy named Austin, who was also new, and we became friends. Later on, we met our friend Alex, who happened to have the same shoes as Austin and they just thought it was the coolest thing. *facepalm* Flash forward, we are all still friends and now things are beginning to change.
