There was something Forge was forgetting. The camp seemed so familiar. More and more as the weeks went on. It seemed to him like Star was trying to drop hints to jog his memory. But no. Only faint memories floating in the back of his mind. Which annoyed him even more. He sat in bunker Nine with Leo. They were both tinkering with bits of metal.
"What was Beckendorf like?" Forge asked Leo.
"I dunno," Leo looked up from the wires he was fiddling with, "I never actually met him. He died in the Second Titan war, that was before I got to camp. They say he was one of the best blacksmiths that the Hephaestus cabin has ever seen." Leo sighed, "I wish I could meet the guy, but his soul, along with lots of others, is missing from the underworld, his was one if the first six to go missing. Along with Luke Castallan, Zöe Nightshade, Bianca Di Angelo, Silena Beaurgard and my friend Percy Jackson." When Leo said this Percy guy's name his eyes went big and sad.
"He must've meant a lot to you, Percy Jackson I mean," Forge said looking back down at the scraps in his hands.
"He meant a lot to everyone."

Zöe fired another arrow.
"Good shot you've got there," Zöe turned to see Lady Artemis standing and watching. How long she had been there Zöe didn't know. Thank the Gods that Zöe had had the sense to keep her hood up.
"I was trained by the best," Zöe notched another arrow.
"Chaos?" Artemis drew her bow and fired a few arrows.
"No," Zöe fired the arrow," you."
